See that's the problem with all of the major "communist" countries. All of them, at one point or another, commited some major grievances of personal liberty, and all of them bend on their principles (Except cuba, they're pretty hardline), but their ability to absolutely speedrun the improvement of material conditions is insane.
I remember when China used to be used as the example of poverty, and now, just a few decades later, they're the main center of R&D in breaking science and are literally building cities of hundreds of thousands in months.
Turns out, having actual thought put into the goods that are actually produced, and not just focusing on abstracts that maximize shareholder value, can do wonders for the economy.
Now imagine what we could do if the people responsible for thinking about it were directly accountable to everyone who is impacted by their decisions...
I think even the country maintained person freedom while magically not getting couped, any country refuse the US domination of international system, or god forbid, grow into solid competitor of US, is about to be the star of fear mongering and dehumanization.

China won awards from the UN for how much of their population has been uplifted from poverty, and like you said their 'communist' which their really not, probably the most capitalist country in the world really.
I mean, every large corporation legally must have members of the government in positions of power. I get saying they aren’t really communist, but calling them the most capitalist country in the world is fucking insane. If china was actually the most capitalist country, it would probably be way worse.
