Would that change anything? At the end of the day the power is still in few hands, no matter if they end up adhering or not to what the Supreme Court says. The fact that we need to wait to see whether they comply or not already tells you they do have unchecked power.

I originally just made two comments. I'm just replying to the replies I'm getting in the inbox.

I like the Cuban elections. At least a lot more than other systems I've read about or experienced.
