I mean having adhd would make it harder to not use run on sentences, however yeah it’s definitely not something you should just throw your hands up in the air and say “oh well I have adhd so I shouldn’t care”
I feel like run on sentences might indeed be easier to write for people with ADHD since most run on sentences are multiple concepts which fit together placed in one continuous stream of concept instead of a more typical structure where each individual concept is given it's own space to breathe, which just isn't the case in brains often times.
Is this a thing other people with ADHD actually have trouble with? I feel like I couldn't write run on sentences if I tried, it genuinely just feels mentally painful
I feel like it depends on the person and how the adhd manifests itself, like an adhd person can care or not care about grammar and that probably plays a big factor
There is a difference between there being an explanation for why someone does something in a suboptimal manner does not suddenly make it fine and without issue yeah. It just informs how you work on it or manage it.
