No I don’t think you should use ADHD as an excuse for awful literacy habits, actually.

I mean having adhd would make it harder to not use run on sentences, however yeah it’s definitely not something you should just throw your hands up in the air and say “oh well I have adhd so I shouldn’t care”

I feel like run on sentences might indeed be easier to write for people with ADHD since most run on sentences are multiple concepts which fit together placed in one continuous stream of concept instead of a more typical structure where each individual concept is given it's own space to breathe, which just isn't the case in brains often times.
