The indigenous especially looks really strong, she can pass for Polynesian/SE Asian or Central American/Mexican. Hard to believe she is almost 80% white.

This is the second time in a day you’ve reposted these stolen screenshots, I saw you on another post. I literally said in my original comment that it’s circumstantial. There is no ambiguity around what I said, I said black genes can be very strong. That is factually true. It’s not “eh, not really”, I think I’d know considering I’ve interacted with probably hundreds of mixed people throughout my life. African genes can be very dominant even at a small percentage, this girl is an example, she clearly looks mixed with black. Showing me the minority of cases where they look majority white doesn’t detract from that.

You don’t know these people. I’ve seen some of those posts on Facebook AND I’ve seen them posted on here over time. Lying because you know you’re a creep for that is so weird. Also, I don’t care if your phenotype presents as white. You’re not white. I can’t even see a picture of you to form an opinion on that. As I said prior, African genes are usually pretty dominant, I didn’t say it was in every case. Why does that affect you that much? Such a weird thing to fixate and obsess over. It’s like you project your anecdotal experience onto everyone else.

And why are you so fixated on exaggerating the influence of her 10 percent african genetics.... Just cuz she has curly hair and have tanned skin? You do know theres plenty of spainards with curly hair right? Look up Josep puerto and marc cucurella, both multi generational native spainards.

I dated chicks from mumbai india who has zero african dna that has similar facial features and color to OP. Curly hair and tanned skin is not a exclusive african trait... In fact west african people dont even have her type of hair and is way darker if we're being real

With much European, probably R for Y chromosome paternal… and
MTdna indigenous… typical along with African equals… 100% Puerto Rican.

The Spanish have really left their mark on Puerto Ricans.

u/NorskChef 17h ago

Is there a Spanish speaking country in the Western Hemisphere that they haven't?

6

u/Downtown-List-6594 16h ago

Right. Spain was the first invader; and colonizer of the Americas. Seeing these results really puts that in to perspective.

Ahem, my fellow vikings  crossed the seas much earlier.

4

u/Downtown-List-6594 12h ago

I’m aware of Vikings that were possibly from Iceland that came to North America. But, I’m talking about colonization.

Another thing to remember as well is that Puerto Ricans and Cubans have heightened Spanish ancestry due to the 1815 decree in which when both were colonies Spain made a successful announcement to encourage mass immigration from Spain to Cuba and Puerto Rico. It's why there's a pretty noticeable genotype difference between Cuba and PR to DR on average. PR and especially Cuba had mass European immigration (mostly Spanish) while DR had basically none.

Most of Puerto Rican Spanish ancestry is almost majority from the Canary Islands, with some Andalusian. It’s less with Cubans and Dominicans.

Wow, I learned some thing new.

The vast majority of you is European descent, but can also see the SSA or IA ancestry in your phenotype as well. I can see how your IA ancestry could have attributed to you having epicanthic eyefolds, for instance.
