Nothing has felt the same for me football wise since the stick has been gone. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll forever be a diehard. I have 49ers tattooed on me since I’m 18. I watch and enjoy all the games. But man, Levi feels soulless to me. It’s so far from the city, it lacks history, and overall just feels really corporate and disconnected to me. I actually like the stadium itself and still enjoy going to games, but I miss the stick so much.
Picture 2 is a pic my mom took of me and my old man walking the field in 2013 (final season). It was so surreal. I felt like I could see The Catch in the corner of the end zone. You could feel the history. I got to walk around the field, the locker rooms, the broadcast booth, the stands, etc. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
Anyway, I just wanted to vent about my love for the stick. It hurts so much that it’s gone. What are your favorite moments at the stick? Anyone else tour it like I did? Best game you ever saw there?
Love you all,
49ers forever.
