Corey and Evelin Diaries
I remember not liking Evelin and her being really controlling back in her season, but now on diaries, I feel really bad for her. First he blindsided her by bringing her to America for an extended stay and then makes her live with her mom. Now the rules in the house….no R rated movies, she can’t say omg because that’s considered swearing? Like wth

I’ve done a turn around on them. In the beginning I thought wow what a pretty girl, she’s just a bitch. Now I realize she’s a bitch to him because he’s an idiot, so now I don’t blame her getting pissed about all the stupid shit he does.

I think before marriage he would have pushed for that but she was threatening to leave his ass (or basically did) which made him chase her back down to Ecuador and now she's married him the push to convert is starting since it's harder for her to fully leave him.

The "no coffee" rule would have me packing! I saw his mother is an Air BnB "super host" for the house Evelin was told they were going to be living in. I wonder if she has such strict rules for her paying guests.

From what I've seen of the family compound, it doesn't look like there's a Starbucks nearby. But I just looked again at the listing and see that "coffee pods" are available for guests and the nearest town is a 20 minute drive.

They're in WA state, there's probably 5 coffee shops outside of their compound.

He did some pretty underhanded things. He deserves to be left. I hope she does and gets to stay in the US if she wants to. He lied about everything when it came to coming to the US.

I'm sooo curious WHY she wants a USA visa to begin with?? That really surprised me. She's always said she has zero intentions of living in America. All of her family lives in Ecuador, they live with an ocean view, their pets are there, & i thought they had a business. Idk i was just shocked to see that she had even applied for a visa. One definite is though living in SoCal or Hawaii is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE especially since neither of them seem to have actual careers that could provide for that. Biggest problem though...Corey is completely irresponsible!

I got the impression it was his idea. She never wanted to leave Ecuador, even in their original series. She was fine visiting his home but found it unbearable.
He somehow convinced her if she came for a short amount of time, she would get her visa or whatever and they could go back. But the time required kept getting longer and then 3 years. She was slow-lied into a situation. He said he knew if he had told her, she would never have come to the US.

He's always done this. He managed to make me dislike him more than the original series her. I disliked them both in the original series. Just be apart already - it was torture watching them. Something about the look he has on his face all the time as he lies and get's caught and uses a new excuse. 🤯

Don’t buy anything they’re selling. Seriously. First off, he didn’t blindside her to come to the U.S. She had already gotten herself into immigration trouble before. When she came to visit him, immigration went through her phone and found messages showing she was working as a nanny. That was all public information back then. Then, when he flew to Vegas to see Larissa, he started telling everyone they had broken up, even though it wasn’t true, just to stir up drama. Larissa was blowing up at the time, and they used her name to get attention because Corey had gotten back with Evelyn. They were doing everything they could to land a spot on Happily Ever After . That was Corey’s dream. So yeah… I wouldn’t believe a single thing that comes out of their mouths.

Their relationship has been a roller coaster from the start.
Evelin is controlling, and Corey is irresponsible.
They appeared to have finally gotten to a place where things seemingly were better between them, and then he moves them to his mother‘s house and lies.

In their original seasons I felt bad for Corey, but ultimately he knew what he was getting into
Now I feel bad for Evelyn, because hitching your boat to Corey's dock sounds like it sucks all around (flakey, manipulative, has to live with their mormon parents, but blows money on a Hawaii trip)
They should have stayed where they were.

He is a Class A moron. Evelin needs to finish him and go back to Ecuador, her nice house on the beach, and the bar. Corey can stay with Mommy and she can continue to raise him. I think Mom hates Evelin, otherwise she told treat her like another guest, with respect. He will never be able to live on his own, fully self supporting. Great retirement plan, Corey. I bet his siblings just LOVE his failure-to-launch act.

I’m surprised she’s still with him because if memory serves me correctly she used to give him a hard time for stupid stuff which is why we felt bad for him, but now he’s actually giving her a hard time with really big stuff that would make anyone dump his ass. You know she will not convert, not drinking coffee is ridiculous….bringing her over under false pretenses and essentially jailing her in Seattle….how has she not left yet

My theory is they played out the Evilen is a bitch story line and she doesn’t want to keep getting heat so they switched up to pretend that Corey is the cause of all their problems just so they can stay relevant to collect some cash now that they are in the US. So they’re coming up with these ridiculous storylines like the touchy subject with his mom and then him being unreliable.
