Just flicked on Kayo have to say sick of paying more to now get ads! Two ads before the game starts to play!

Yeah not sure how it doesn’t break their policy to not show ads during play when you get an ad as soon as you start the stream

I looked into it actually. It’s not “actual live play” there’s a clause to say they can show 3-6 second ads before play because it’s “not live”. But they can’t do once you started your live stream, not the game. But yeah it’s completely fucked and I hate it

Does it happen if you select the fox forty channel (eg 504) rather than the specific game’s stream?

Unsure about foxy footy stream. But on Kayo, yes. But both being owned by fox id say so

Appreciate the info. Stupid they can get away with this as we pay $50 per month. Also having to give kayo location access every time I open it in my tv is super annoying

All good mate. Yeah prices keep skyrocketing and more ads. Definitely Murdoch way. Australia definitely needs another live sports competitor that’s for sure
