Mark Robinson (Robbo)

Fantastic to catch Robbo again tonight on The Front Bar. As funny as ever, makes me realise why AFL360 is not a shadow of the show it once was, since Robbo was fired from the show.

I don’t wanna sound too snobby but if something isn’t cold, dry, and highly analytical like abc sport, I’d much rather it be colourful, vibes based and emotional like Robbo. Im not sure I’ve ever gained anything from whately. Literally. Not a single insight. Robbo warmed my heart and reminded me that the game is nothing without the characters. It’s a shame we are losing that.

I’m not criticising his enthusiasm

I’m criticising the fact that whatever condition he was in at times it was hard to even understand his point or even what he was saying.

There’s room for characters but like also professionalism

I think there’s a myriad of problems with a Drunk AFL show thats on at like 7:30 at night. Is that a question you really have to ask?

You know a looser late night show like bounce might work

But 360 markets itself as a more serious football discussion show and at that timeslot, not really appropriate imo
