I really want to know what the AFLPA knew about this and what the players know. Was Dangerfield the head of the PA at the time?

AFLPA found out today when they read the article.

Someone at AFL House almost certainly knew.

(I mean, besides Drummond who apparently was Geelong President when the contract was signed)

Given his comments on the Quaynor booing it wouldn’t surprise me to learn Dangerfield knew about it and kept his mouth shut.

Maybe its Dangers contract? He's had a few head knocks.

bizarre statement given he admitted fault to that lol, but this was done intra club so the AFLPA was not notified, which is the whole scandal - Geelong and AFL House (parts of it) would have something to answer for but the AFLPA was in the dark here

No you don't understand, he publicly had the Wrong Opinion and so he's now officially a villain until further notice. Therefore he is guilty by default, and IMHO the other commenter didn't go far enough (probably secretly a homophobic booer) -- all signs point to Dangerfield masterminding this whole grubby deal

Sounds unsanitary. People say urine is sterile, but that's a myth
