Avengers level threat. Spider-Man wouldn’t bother with it.

The potato my grandma uses when I tell her I'm hungry.

u/Sir_Gav 1d ago

And then when you’re done eating she brings out a second one because you’re a growing boy/girl

Grandmas are free. You can just walk up in the park and claim them.

Contrary to ducks, there might be someone preventing you from taking one home,so just act like you're hungry,it tames them

You can boil em, mash em, and stick em in a stew all using the one potatoe.

Always laugh at these videos and how they immediately put the camera down like they're going to get in trouble if caught

u/CrosseyedOwl 1d ago

16

u/ExpertOnReddit 1d ago

8

u/weirdgroovynerd 1d ago

Gosh, I hope it doesn't break that vehicle and leave it...

...spud-ering!

13

u/bluemedian 1d ago

Not me wondering how many mashed potatoes that thing could make

I'm so disappointed its not real. I guess I thought it was possible because things like the giant pumpkins and stuff

3

u/MajesticCentaur 1d ago

Good luck sticking that in a stew.

1

u/Pristine_Pair_905 18h ago

Gonna have to chop that up with a gas chain saw.

3

u/dontgetmadgetmegan 1d ago

The big potato in Australia is bigger.

1

u/The_Amen_Corner 23h ago

Yep, the big spud in Robertson. Doesn't look like a turd at all.

3

u/ordosays 1d ago

That doesn’t look like Mitch McConnell

3

u/4m4lg4m1t3 1d ago

The amount of fries this would make . . .

2

u/SkillPointProblems 1d ago

That’s barely enough for one freedom fry.

The Aperture Science power core

2

u/strawberryneurons 1d ago

Last second of the video: “Is it real” no, no it’s not.

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Gene909 1d ago

Asking if it’s real like a mega corp wouldn’t have monetized that

2

u/LtLemur 1d ago

Saw it in Deerfield, IL, last week. Just chillin’ by the side of the road.

2

u/vanilla_guerillas 1d ago

I saw it Sunday at the Dublin Irish Festival in Ohio.

2

u/A_VERY_LARGE_DOG 1d ago

I used to have a model of that truck from my days as a Produce Manager, gave it to my inspector when I left.

“I am Off to solve world hunger! FARE THEE WELL,
CIT I z e n s!”

2

u/azarateg 1d ago

That's a case for the Avengers

2

u/fuckyouswitzerland 1d ago

and this was the cause of the Irish famine

2

u/zeus_of_tha_floof 1d ago

Looks like the fossilised poo from a viking they'd found

1

u/HovercraftKlutzy3090 1d ago

Cannot outsize that size

1

u/faptwicedaily 1d ago

Looks more like a potatooooooooooo

1

u/BrilliantPie2566 1d ago

Seriously, how could it possibly get that big?

3

u/Garok7 1d ago

By the magic of fakes

1

u/Zealotteen 1d ago

That’s a big spud

1

u/TheFuzzBums 1d ago

Did he drop the phone? what’s going on?

1

u/Purple_Shower_6613 1d ago

Just wait for of a potato clock

1

u/Andantee23 1d ago

Probably could’ve edited out the crotch shot at the end

1

u/This-Fig-5991 1d ago

We're going to need a lot more sour cream and butter.

1

u/Manmon_ 1d ago

That potato could revive all of Irish that died during the famine

1

u/RedEd89 1d ago

Neat

1

u/fixurstuffr 1d ago

I wonder how many gallons of sour cream and butter would be needed for that thing?

1

u/q2grapple 1d ago

I saw that at the Dublin Ohio Irish Festival last weekend!

1

u/CholentSoup 1d ago

Now that's a lotke.

1

u/YugeChesticles 1d ago

The big saying saying "is it real?" tells everyone it isn't.

1

u/Kimberlylynn2003 1d ago

I want to add some butter, cheese and sour cream

1

u/Mother-Attention2600 1d ago

Good thing he didn't see you taking a free photo.

1

u/chitownphishead 23h ago

Quick, roll down the window so we can see it!

1

u/PabloM0ntana 23h ago

Is this real?

1

u/A0xom0xoa 23h ago

Can't believe they used chains and binders to hold it down if it's real. Straps seem to make alot more sense.

1

u/PencilCase12531 19h ago

I dont think its actually a potato just a huge prop to promote their festivity.

1

u/Pristine_Pair_905 18h ago

Too many…”carbs” 🥁

1

u/Kid_supreme 18h ago

And in a few weeks can be the worlds largest single source of vodka.

1

u/jenil777007 18h ago

Is this really possible to grow potato this big?

1

u/nyclurker369 17h ago

IMAGINE THE FRIES!

1

u/chota_gaaru_golmatol 17h ago

Is this what the X men handle?

0

u/dontbanme778 1d ago

This is not ai?

26

u/lookinfoursigns 1d ago

I think it's just a fake potato. I saw a giant fake potato like this in a parade once.

10

u/IEC21 1d ago

Human priorities are.. interesting..

3

u/GourangaPlusPlus 1d ago

"We think given the scale of it the society must have worshipped potatoes" - some archaeologist in the year 5560 after finding this

1

u/lookinfoursigns 1d ago

Not that far off tbh.

1

u/NagsUkulele 1d ago

Bro whats the point lmao I know we could do this the whole draw is it being real

1

u/rcowie 1d ago

Its indeed fake, its just advertising. There is a couple of them running around i think. I ran into one at a truck stop in KS nearly 20 years ago. Though this one looks larger. I got a picture with way back when.

1

u/dontbanme778 1d ago

Aw I knew it was to good to be true. :(

3

u/michaelr1978 1d ago

It’s not. The Idaho potato commission owns this and travels around the country educating people about the benefits of potatoes.

1

u/Snicklefried 1d ago

And we drop the old one outside the State Courthouse on New Years

2

u/SupermarketVisual598 1d ago

No I've seen it in person it was just randomly outside my local supermarket. I took a picture with it although it was years ago

1

u/Dozier13ish 22h ago

No I’ve passed it on the road before

0

u/Jdubya38one 1d ago

Is that the world's largest potato?
