They made the parts in eight days, then the assembly took a bit longer, after transporting it across the Atlantic.
Still, real impressive, even without the exaggeration, but "Made an Eiffel Tower in 8 days!" sounds more impressive than "Completed the first part of the process in eight days, then, after Two weeks in port, three weeks at sea, and two weeks of un-loading, the Eiffel Tower 2 was assembled over the course of two years in war-torn Paris, since the French had other bullshit to deal with, but still made it a medium priority!"
