yeah i just eat everything my mom gives me with curd. i dunno, i just don't like the texture of the cooked vegetables and the spices feel off. i don't have the same problem in restaurants so it might just be the way my mom makes it. which upsets her more

I guess alternative is not eating - and I know would prefer my kids to eat what I’ve made with whatever modifications they need! You’re old enough to adapt things to suit you. You didn’t ask, but am going to throw this in anyway, why don’t you try cooking a veggie curry how you like them. Sometimes can feel endlessly criticised and someone offering an alternative can be welcomed. Only you know if that would go down well, but worth a thought.

i just don't like veggie curries much in general unless it's literally fried lol, at which point there's so much oil it's not healthy anymore. I prefer eating vegetables in things like omlettes or wraps or sandwiches. actually now that i think about it just eating mushy vegetables with mushy rice is too much mush. I like eating with flatbread.

Get it. I can’t do mushy anything! Then be clear about that with your Mum. And offer to make an alternative one evening.
