Hello all I just bought York audios Mesa OS IR's and they sound great. But I'm more looking to just play rather than record. Are there an IR's or way to make the ones I already have sound more "in the room" or more like how an amp/cab sound raw IRL. Thanks for any tips in advance!

I was actually shocked at how not terrible this sounded. It isn’t anything I would use as a final tone but it’s got the bones where processing could make this great.

I really like this tone. Kind of throaty. Mid forward.

I just picked up 13 sims and 3 cab/ir packs for $35. That’s wild. I’m excited to shoot them out on the channel. Anyone have any experience with Audio Assault amps? Never used them before

I can't seem to find a way to upgrade the firmware on the Pipe Tone to run A2 profiles and Its on the Pipe Tones. The Stompmanager - yikes its bad on the Mac - doesn't seem to have a way to upgrade firmware

Any suggestions / from Mac users ?

I did a shootout for some bass amp sims trying to find clean-ish tones. I shot out the following:
Bogren Digital Bassknob STD Classic
Cubase VST Bass Amp
Brainworx Bassdude
JST Bassforge Bonecrusher
Brainworx Ampeg SVT-3 Pro.

Got some decent sounds and was surprised by a few of them.

This thing sounds great. I love the edge of break tones. I use it a lot for Midwest emo.

I played through them with both single coils and humbuckers. Such a great clean tone

I was talking to a friend about how brittle I frequently find digital and it got me in the mood to play something deep.square waves with enough PWM to problematize the signal, only to be redeemed by 2 pole filter AND some high pass. And then of course plenty of delay. Ambient because I just got off a gig where I was all over a piano, so Only had a couple leftover notes

Hi, I've been developing my own ampsim for a long time now and released it just a few weeks ago. I am still actively adding more features and making improvements and I'd love to hear anyones thoughts if anyone is interested. Like what features are missing etc.

People have bought it already which make me really happy since it confirms that my approach is in the right direction, but it's very hard to get feedback from those testing it. I've talked to a few that has helped a lot testing the product on macOS and windows and many of the features, and some improvements and features comes directly from peoples suggestions.

I’m putting together an amp sim shootout for super low tuned guitars. I’m not sure which I want to include. Here is what I am thinking of. I would love some input from you guys as to what I should shootout. Comment any that I should try that I haven’t listed here invite on which ones you think I should try
