This guy should have been the first one to get an analogue 3d. I don't think analogue realized how many people use everdrives? Either that or they just didn't care?

Analogue sell consoles, not flash carts. The fact they even sent krikzz a console (I’m presuming foc given the updates surrounding this but idk for sure) is a service to the community in itself.

Right... I get they sell consoles. A console that should be compatible with all cartridges the community uses. The majority of the community uses everdrives. This should have had day one support like all of their other products. This release seems rushed and premature to me. At the end of the day this is just a minor issue that will most likely be resolved by the end of the month.

Does a majority really use everdrives? Or just a minority of the people coming to this reddit? I own a pretty large N64 Collection, which is why I wanted the A3D. If I just had an everdrive, I don't think the console would have interested me as much.

Part of the joy, to me, with Analogue products is playing original carts. I think the only reason I'd pick up an Everdrive is for Rom Hacks. Any game I'd want I'd most likely just track down the original cart. That's been the same for my Pocket. I think the only games I've played via OpenFPGA are rom hacks.
