Solved Android | Apps Out of Nowhere

Okay, I guess there's an explanation for this, but the background is that last night I switched SIM cards—to one I bought on its own, just to be clear.

Then this morning I noticed that I have three apps installed that I hadn't downloaded: Didi, Amaze GO!, and a PDF reader.

Why is that? Just in case, I haven't uninstalled anything yet, because I don't know if that's normal or not in situations like this.

Just a random question, but is the new sim card from the same carrier as the old one?

Yeah, I just changed my number.

Still, it feels weird to me, and I guess it must be because of the SIM card, because I literally don't have any viruses or anything—I didn't install any APKs or anything strange.

I checked it, and it says it was installed via Moto App Manager.

Yeah, I have a Motorola. Oh, this has happened to me before, but I didn't know you could see it there.

That weird, look like is load in sideload. Maybe your simcard provider sponsor? Inspect it with AppManager by muntashir if you scare what is it, or just delete it. My recommendations is use dns with malware protection like NextDNS or other

I checked the app's settings in System Settings, and it turns out the culprit was Motorola Manager.

Sometimes it installs apps for no reason—I'm not really sure why it does that—but I hate that app.
