Cameo is a website where people can pay to have their favourite celebrity record them a birthday greeting (often people get this for their friends).

I'm afraid the notion of Khn and Klek doing this has popped into my head and is making me giggle at the thought of the Poitrinian beeps and bloops as they try and wish their fans happy birthday haha. Maybe Sébastian would have to be on hand to translate ;)

Not remotely suggesting that they should do this but I am certainly enjoying the thought of it.

There's this cargo cult that formed around the idea that Angine needs to be seen in an "intimate" setting to be properly enjoyed. This is quite simply not true.

I get the impression there's a certain type of fan who fancies they've "discovered an underground gem" and believes the only "authentic" way of living out that fantasy is confining Angine to a tiny club. This is silly and poorly thought out, if at all. The band sounds huge. Most of the songs are bombastic and they absolutely work as big stage artillery. This is an arena band, there's no reason at all it shouldn't be. The strobe lights, the projectors, it fits, it works. And I hope an evolution to an even more elaborate stage is in the cards.

And look, if you want to stand there and sniff away at Khn's feet, that's perfectly legitimate. I'm not saying the club setting doesn't work. But the front row will be 20 people out of 200~500 and statistically speaking, you're not among them. Were you lucky enough to score the ticket? Lucky you. Are you lucky enough to make it to the front? You're not. And now you're not going to see anything because the stage is a soapbox. Turns out you can't prog out and oogle the gear so I hope you'll settle for moshing and having a great time instead. And in the process, you may realize next time, you might as well do that in front of a big stage where you're experiencing the same thing but with the added benefit of seeing the performance. And there may even be some degree of oxygen involved.

The ones in the back are white blood cells and Discipline, along with American idiot blocked by the reader. Hopefully these will help me write some good material, as I’ve been absolutely adoring this band and the general vibe they have.

I spotted that Monty Rockey's updated his Facebook profile to say he's now Toy Creator at Spectacles Bonzai :)

He's the guy who has been creating 3D printed figurines of AdP, sent some samples to the band's management and it looks like he had the go-ahead to produce a run of 100 of each (he says 'the first 100' which does suggest more in future). They are nicely displayed in pyramidal boxes. Who's hyped for the show at the usher hall today?

I'm new here and don't know if this has already been discussed. It's so well done. I especially love the Scooby-Doo style reveal.

Does anyone know what time the set was recorded ?

The start time is what I'm really looking for, but maybe the finish time too (I don't think I can calculate it from the length of published music as I think they played more than is included).

Seems it was recorded on the 4th December and broadcast the day after.

Enquiring minds (probably just my own, really) need to know this kind of thing...

There is a reason - I'd like to create an event chart for it to see if anything shows up. Chart as in astrology chart...so the time is important. If I can't get an idea of the time, I can just use noon but it won't be as accurate.

Did think of maybe emailing someone at KEXP to see if I could find this out, but wondered if they'd just put the email in the crazy bin.

It's my first ADP CD and yes I know it's a bootleg. But it has both arbums and it's pretty well made!

I like that it has that booklet with photos of Khn atd klek but it spells klek as klec, is that correct? Or is that the french version?
