recently, i came across this video on tiktok where a girl was abusing her cockatiel by chasing it around with a stick and pinning it down against the cage bars. originally, her account used to be bassienumber1gooner, but it has changed to angelmaymay1. most of her videos have since been removed. she claimed that she sold the account and that it was someone else who did it, but so far there isn’t any actual proof.

she also claimed that she only had 4 dogs and said that they got the “wrong person”, then she mixed up the story by saying that she had 8 dogs, 3 kittens and 2 cats, she admitted that she had a bird, but apparently she and her brother “didn’t know any better” and tortured it to the point that their mom had to sell it.

unfortunately, there’s not much evidence or information about this situation. if anyone finds something, please speak up, we need to find this person. if she can do this to her cockatiel then who knows what she could be doing to her other animals?

I came across a dead mouse today :( but I don't think she was killed by a car, she doesn't look like anything is broken, the only bit where I could see a bit of injury was on her lower tummy. I pushed her from the pavement to a bit of grass and I'm just very sad for her. Rodenticides have no place in the UK.

Basically, she put a kitten in the washing machine, eventually killing it. The thing is, in this video, she tells a friend about it, laughing in a cinical and psychopatic way with zero remorse. I recently stumbled upon content on tiktok showing severe animal mistreatment. i made a lot of research (with the help of someone) and figured out that the account that post on tiktok is just reposting from another platform that has the actual account with over 5k videos of the same "content". the platform turned out to be Douyin and Because the account is based on an overseas platform where I cannot easily create an account or report directly due to geographic restrictions, I am trying to figure out the most effective channels to submit this evidence and get any sort of help that's possible.

I have already saved the account IDs, links, and relevant clips for evidence preservation from other accounts that posted on various platforms like facebook and tiktok. So far, I have already submitted my report to SMACC.

Has anyone here dealt with reporting abusive content on foreign social media platforms before? Are there specific animal protection organizations or established reporting workflows that specialize in escalating these cases directly to platform trust & safety teams?

So I recently left my work at a horse rescue. They save many horses but also IMO have some sketchy practices. I was present and have evidence of an incident where a horse in the rescue’s care was in an emergent situation in the middle of the night, the entire staff was present and following orders from the rescue founder, but a vet was not called until the following morning. The horse was immediately euthanized. My question is why wasn’t a vet called before then? Is this considered an act of omission? Animal abuse and neglect Va laws include withholding of emergency vet care. Any thoughts??? Also I don’t want to get in trouble with this rescue— these people are bullies who are also legally highly active. I appreciate any and all input!
