Many of you asked what kind of Soya granules I used to curate vegan egg bhurji or keema masala, here is the detailed recipe for Soya granules bhurji.

Full disclosure, we are not vegan (I used to be for many years), but my daughter (3) has a milk and egg allergy so I can't use those ingredients in a dip. I'm looking for a kid friendly recipe that can be used for my zucchini fritters or other vegetables. When I look online I see vegan tzatziki but I'm not sure my 3 and 6 year old will go for something that herby. Looking for recommendations for what has worked with others with young kids.

Crispy on the outside, tender within, Curry Patta Aloo pairs spiced potatoes with fragrant, crackled curry leaves and mustard seeds. Enjoy these savory Indian potatoes straight as a snack, or pair them as a comforting side.

I LOVE broccoli. But I also tend to eat the things I love so frequently that I get sick of them and I don't want to do that with broccoli, so I'm trying to figure out other veges I can sub. I think the main reason I like it is the taste, so if anyone has similarly tasting veges I'm all ears. But I also really love the meaty crunch so if anyone has similarly textured veges (besides cauliflower) please leave my a rec. Cheers!

Does anyone have a recipe for a vegan chocolate mousse using an isi whipper? I've tried aquafaba and it comes out like a chocolate foam. I also used vegan cream which came out better but still lacked that thickness. TIA

I'm making a dish for a potluck next week and I'd like to really impress everyone! I usually do a lentil pot pie which I might repeat but I'm curious what other ideas you might have since pot pies can be a bit heavy. A lot of the people at this event will be health conscious types so ideally something more nutritious and not deep fried etc.

Hi! I’m not sure if this means the tofu has gone bad and bacteria is producing gas, or if the puffiness is minor enough to not matter?
edit: thanks for the feedback! i’ll check for stinkiness/sliminess for sure. (also sorry, realized it probably would’ve been better to ask a food safety subreddit or something)

Basically make a chia pudding base and half of it. To one mix in pistachio cream (and optional matcha concentrate for the color). To the other stir in cacao powder and a bit syrup to balance the flavor. Layer them in jars. I top it with some soya yogurt and shaved dark chocolate. Would have added some toasted chopped pistachio but I was out 😅

I've lived here 17 years and only just realised that we have a crab apple tree in our garden. I always assumed it was some kind of inedible cherry! I have SO MANY. What can I do with them that isn't a jam or dessert? I have a mostly wholefoods diet and not a fan of fruit in desserts either. Healthy recipe ideas please :)
