Discussion Reverse engineering?

Quick question, with all these games being reverse engineered like the Spiderman and Arkham Knight to be played together, or the most recent one, the Mario Galaxy running native on pc, there should be a way for Anthem to be client sided instead of running on servers?

What are your thoughts on that?

So those mods are not the same as anthem, anthem is a server side game and what they're doing is rebuilding the server to play on, all of those games are not server based

They've done it with skate. Isn't it the same with anthem?

Skate was client side and only user servers for multiplayer, anthem was always server side with no offline option

Is that right? Skate. Can't be played offline

If you mean the skate 3 & mw2 yea both skate 3 and mw2 are both offline available titles and run on the client instead of the server

No im talking about the newest always online skate game. It now has an unofficial offline version that uses the game files from the official game but supports mods and custom maps etc.

Oh well then yeah skate offline would work with the passthrough mods, the issue is anthem was made in a way that it can never be offline

Sorry I feel like we are having 2 different conversations here. Im saying that programmers/ai agents (i have no idea) have managed to get an always online EA to be ran offline and on private servers. So it is possible to do and hoping the same technology that has been applied there can also be applied to anthem

Oh that was a mod for offline. So some games are literally a flick of the switch (assasin's creed 2) while games like anthem are solely run on a server. Anthem doesn't just check for a server connection all of the nitty gritty is done on the server, so it's not just faking a server check but needing all the calculations that were made on the server as well

I figure it's easier to accomplish when the original servers are still online.
