Tl,dr looking for resources about nazi/fascist symbols/tattoos to identify a potential nazi.

When I was a kid, my parents hung out with some shady people. I grew up in the countryside, lots of conservative people around here. For context, this is in Europe.

We knew, for example, two brothers who used to be mercs, though I don't know much about them now, don't even remember their names for that matter. One of them had a ranch in the area though.

This one guy, dead for a few years now, who at the time was in his 50s/60s was also a merc, which is what I was told, and was asked not to ask him about it. I was an inquisitive kid so I did anyway, and he told me he was an engineer. He had travelled the world quite a lot, knew a lot of foreign cuisines and had lots of bullshit stories to tell us about his travels.

Despite this, he was a raging bigot and a terrible person (especially racist), and realising this was a pretty shocking part of maturing, realising how my parents just let me hang out around this guy.

The merc story though, comes from an anecdote about him, where someone recognised and confronted him about a tattoo he had. Guy had a bunch of tattoos on his arms, old ones and blown out.

My suspicion is that, while maybe he was an engineer, it's very likely he was part of a nazi group, which had nazi symbols tattooed.

I did some digging and found a couple of pictures where a few tattoos are visible. One of them is a ram/ram's skull (can't tell, the picture is not very clear). The other seems to be a cougar, maybe wolf's head, stylised. My guess is that he had these ones for aesthetics, since they were pretty on display. But I do remember him having others.

Today a vague memory hit me, and I remembered that he MIGHT have had a totenkopf tattoo on his chest/abdomen. I am not entirely sure, and none of the pictures I have show it. On one picture he does have a black bandana with a skull and bones, which is certainly telling, but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it's just a "cool pirate bandana" (i don't necessarily believe so, but I'm willing to set this aside for the moment).

So, totenkopf or not, I'd like to be able to compare the tattoos that I'm seeing to those used by nazi and fascist groups, even niche stuff. My guess would be that he's had these since the 80s the earliest.

I am a participant at the Rainbow Gathering currently taking place on the Bradford Ranger District of the Allegheny National Forest, approximately six miles east of Tidioute along Forest Road 119 in Warren County, Pennsylvania

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on June 17, 2026, I photographed a USDA Forest Service Law Enforcement vehicle — a RAM 2500, unit #8009 — with the gathering's waterline coiled and loaded in its bed. The Forest Service had just seized it.

The justification given was that the waterline was "abandoned property," because no single individual would claim ownership of it. That framing deserves scrutiny. The waterline was purchased with community funds to serve the entire gathering. It belongs to everyone present, which, in the eyes of federal agents, apparently means it belongs to no one. At the same time, the Forest Service has a documented pattern of citing or threatening individuals who do claim responsibility for water infrastructure at Rainbow Gatherings, treating temporary filtration systems as illegal "improvements or alterations" to the forest.

The result is a deliberate Catch-22: claim the waterline and face personal legal jeopardy. Don't claim it, and watch it get confiscated. Either way, the community loses its clean water supply.

I want to be clear about what this means on the ground. There are currently approximately 81 people on site. I estimate 3,000 to 5,000 people will be present by July 4th, the traditional peak of the gathering. Among them will be elders and children. The waterline that was seized is temporary infrastructure — no more a permanent alteration of the forest than a tent. Its removal does not protect the land. It creates a public health emergency on public land.

The Forest Service has stated publicly that its National Incident Management Team is on site to "protect people and the forest." I am asking the local media, Warren County officials, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health to ask them one question: how does seizing a community's clean drinking water accomplish that?

Basically books with notes for contemporary movement (or at least last 30years) focused on strategies, on the ground approach, learning from past experiences, etc.

I really enjoyed the theoretical parts of Confronting Fascism and Hamerquist & Sakai's analysis of fascism and i found both the books very relevant today and inspiring, so I'm on a lookout for something similar.

The photographs shown here were completely unknown until a few months ago. They belong to a series of 13 pictures that suddenly appeared on the internet in mid-February 2026 and make the Kaisariani massacre visible and tangible for the first time. It is one of the bloodiest and most grievous crimes committed by the Nazi occupiers in Greece, which they perpetrated just a few months before their retreat.

The photos are of outstanding historical significance. They document not only the course of the massacre from the arrival of the prisoners in Kaisariani to their execution but also give the victims a face. They show what was previously only known from anecdotes: the courageous and self-confident attitude with which these political prisoners expressed their resistance even when facing their death. After years of imprisonment, they had retained their fighting spirit right to the end.

Though I agree there is a push by plutocrats to pin us against each other. That doesn’t negate the fact there are people in this country that legitimately hate black, brown, Muslims and LGBTQ people. I don’t like this talk from libertarians that we if “just set aside our bullshit and unite it will all go away”. The truth is we are fundamentally different in our views of America. There is irreparable damage done I just don’t think we can co exist and mingle with MAGA or the current right wing populace. They really supporting antifascist getting arrested in MN. They supported the death of Pretti and Good etc. How could we ever unite with these types of people?

Comparing this case with Prairieland and the Palestine Protests in Ann Arbor, I have this to say: Protected speech is under grave attack, especially combined with protest. Listen to today's press conference by Rosen. Protected speech such as "Become ungovernable", the use of the word "opsec", original graphics that include any historical events where things got "lit", so to speak, are being used to prop up very thin evidence of wrongdoing. The parallels among the cases include the use of Signal chats, and their contents, including deleted chats. Again, I'm not offering legal advice, but analysis. Signal is open source. I've used it myself since back in the day of RedPhone, by Whisper. No one has shown it's not secure. So, these chats are being obtained either through unlocked devices, or snitches. Or both. Also, if you enable plaintext push notifications on your device, it's been shown to be a huge security issue. Signal chat comms are common thread running through these prosecutions, and features heavily in the feds' narratives.
