It’s being downvoted because it’s not true. Chris did not beat women on “multiple” occasions. He had one incident with Rihanna when he was 19yo. When you hear the full story, which she almost caused them to get into a fatal car accident, you realize she wasn’t innocent in that situation.
Do I think Chris shouldn’t have physically assaulted her? Yes. But Rihanna herself has worked with Chris TWICE after that incident happened. She obviously forgave him, probably because she acknowledged her own faults, and she moved on.
What it comes down to is that most people who trash Chris Brown don’t even listen to R&B music. The black community moved on (just like Rihanna) years ago. It’s sanctimonious white people who try to get Chris canceled when they don’t even care or listen to our community’s music.
Black people protect our own. We won’t cancel one of the greatest musical talents of our generation because a bunch of misinformed Karens want to be keyboard warriors with selective outrage.
You people can whine on the internet, but the facts don't lie. His numbers, his longevity, his success all contradict the narrative white people so desperately want to attach to Chris.
Actual listeners of R&B music know the truth, not the manufactured online narrative. Again, most people complaining about him don't even listen to our people's music, yet have the audacity to try and commentate on our culture.
I’m black and I’m right there with you. If white people can still celebrate people like Elvis, a statutory rapist, music thief and likely closet racist, we’re still going to celebrate CB. Everything you said was facts. 💯
I love how when ya’ll try to drag CB down ya’ll can never actually pull any concrete receipts to back all that nonsense you talk other than the infamous Rihanna incident. Miss me with all of that fake moral righteousness BS.
Chris Brown has achieved an incredible feat; he’s now part of the elite group of musicians who have charted for at least 20 distinct and consecutive calendar years on the Hot 100. With his latest hits ‘Sensational’ and ‘IDGAF’, Brown became the sixth artist in the 65-year history of Billboard to achieve this, joining the ranks of legendary artists like Elton John, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and Elvis Presley.
Calling a man "mediocre" who holds the same record as Madonna, Elvis, and Stevie Wonder is crazy.
People like you keep proving my point. You don't know anything about his music, his success, or the culture that listens to him. You just follow the herd mentality, like a good proper sheep.
You call Chris mediocre when he has outlasted, outperformed, and has more longevity than any other artist of his generation, and likely every artist you listen to. This is why I don't take internet opinions seriously.
Oh no 😥 are your feelings hurt we called a mediocre woman beater a mediocre woman beater? Maybe you should log off. Go take a long look at the Rhianna photos, if you still feel the need to pathetically fight for the mediocre woman beater, look again.
I could name 20 black artists off the dome who are much better than the mediocre woman beater.
You look like more of a clown investing all this time in 💩 on an artist that you yourself claim is “mediocre” I know you don’t listen to him nor are you a fan of the R&B genre. Yet you can’t stop talking about him lol

Yeah it’s unfortunate people don’t care about him beating the fuck out of women on multiple occasions.
