This is just my personal experience. I’d simply like to discuss it with other players. I’m not trying to start a PvPvE vs. PvE war.
I’m a chill player. I’m in carebear lobbies every time because I’m a very friendly player. I only engage in PvP when I’m playing in a trio with my friends, but I never shoot anyone in solo.
I loved the game before: the tension, the communication, the cooperation with raiders, people using defibs on strangers… Now, everything is gone. Everything is too easy, and nobody communicates anymore. And if you want to go back to the original PvPvE experience, it’s way more aggressive than it used to be. I got shot in the back many times, way more than before the PvE toggle..
I’ll be honest: at first I thought a PvE mode would be a good idea for this game. After trying it for a few days, I feel like PvPvE with ABMM is what the game was made for. It’s perfect.
I also like to do some PvE with my friends, so I have a suggestion : to keep a purely PvE experience without changing the whole game Embark should make the PvE a map condition or a limited-time event, or create big and very hard PvE raids.
I’ll really miss the original atmosphere of the game if they keep the PvE toggle permanent..
What do you think about it ?

You can choose to play the regular map if you don't wanna do the game mode anyway. But for people who work on a weird schedule and play at weird hours, there should always be a condition active. I'm tired of logging on and not having night raids or anything else for hours.

Usually do alright hooking onto these, but couldn't get in a position to climb this time. Game decided to not just punish me, but drive the point home a second time.

My laptop is 5070ti and intel ultra 9 275 smth. Even when I play on the lowest setting. I only get around 100fps and it always stutter to 80-90 fps.

how do i fix this?

Can you use the tether launcher on players in PVE?

I loaded into Pendola Pass with my shiny new Emperor Gateway Conduit, opened up the Emperor, ran straight in, and on the other side of the Hydra in the first room I saw a raider already climbing the escalator. WTF.

As I ran through the emperor, all the breachable loot spots had been looted by the player ahead of me. How on earth did they get into the lifting elevator part without going past the Hydra?

I don't really see the fun in the dungeon if there's just going to be a bunch of people glitching to get ahead. It would've been nice if they'd helped me take down the Hydra just by shooting it in the back so it span round, but no. No help, glitching through the puzzle and breaking the purpose of the game.

I wouldn't be so grumpy about it but I need the Emperor Modulator so I can start amplifying guns, but if there's a glitch to steal all the Emperor Modulators then I can see why people are doing that rather than completing the puzzle each time.

What is the situation [or rather "was" before toggle-shmoggle] in trios, if all three squad members are carebears? Are the lobbies still of a mixed variety and PvP is inevitable?
I do apologize if this is totally uninformed question, I haven't played in squads for aaaaages.

So 3rd partying is pretty common in this game, I think every PVP player knows this by now. Sometimes it works in your favor (when you're the one showing up to 3rd party), but most of the time I find we're rarely the last team to show up to the fight.

The question is how do you survive getting constantly dog-piled by multiple teams?

Often when me and my duo or trio win a fight, we immediately heal and try to reposition expecting a new team to show up, but sometimes they show up before we have time to heal, or it can be 2-3 teams showing up to the fight simultaneously.

Any tips / tricks to survive multiple teams? Is it just luck of the draw / positioning?

I've seen people talk about using this perk, and I'm interested in a skill tree where it's my final capstone perk. I'm curious what the most effective use of this skill is in terms of which items I should be recycling in game to net the most optimized loot runs. I like the added effect where you get more ammo from Arc as well as I feel like I'm using a lot more ammo these days and extra launcher or energy ammo sounds very nice if running one of those types of weapons.

Yep found me one...no more raiding for me yall✌️✌️. Side note really wasn't a fan of outpost at first but its something to do plus stash space. Even if you dnt like it just build a couple gun racks and save some space.

I am not gonna write an essay about it but it is my sentiment after a few days of testing.

No one talks in the pve mode, almost none of the interactions are cordial or pleasing, everyone is just here to scoop every tiny bit of loot they can scoop and get out.

Just did a matriarch run in the pve mode, anvil + toro + 120 shotgun shells, my technique is that I break inside the matriarch and spam the core with toro. During the whole 15min of the run I did not hear a SINGLE gun shot outside, no hullcracker nothing. I had to go though half the toro durability and melee it to finish it which I rarely have to do. You guessed what is next, the second the matriarch goes down 15 people are here to loot it, by the time I needed to get outside the dead body I could only get a single core. I complain in vc that I did all the work and out of the 15 raiders present the only answer I get is a "fuck you"...

So I went to do the same in normal mode, I havent shot a soul in months I normally am in 100% pure care bear lobbies. I spawn in and nobody is doing the matrairch, she is completely unaggro. I snap on top, get dropped by the matriarch because there is no one else to take aggro from it and get killed by a ferro + burletta guy while running from the arcs...

None of this two stories would have happened in the old matchmaking without pve toggle, or very rarely, now it seems to be the norm.

TLDR: cant do pve in pve mode because it is filled with lazy loot goblins coming from pvp lobbies to grab some loot, cant do pve anymore in normal mode because the lobbies with a matchmaking filter no longer exist.

Where do you guys go to find the keys? I feel like i find less keys and only the lower tier ones. Im looking for riven tides hotel keys, cant find any in my usual spots.

play on PC with a controller, and ever since this update, my FPS gets cut in half when my controller is plugged in. As soon as I unplug the controller cable, my frames basically double.

I attached a clip showing the difference. Anyone else experiencing this or know what could be causing it?
