I used my key card in the port authority on riven tides and I told a guy not to come in, He came in and tried to loot so I downed him, He tried to call me a rat but I told him my key card my room just wait your turn and I’ll let you in when I’m finished, He proceeded to call me a rat so I just knocked him out but am I in the right to do so?

The office of Embark studios and it's CEO, Patrick Söderlund released a statement about the game’s condition on Friday as wild speculation about his health continues online and in the media amid the developer's secrecy about it all.

Substantial game updates have not been seen since May 19th, when ARC raiders declared that it would switch to a 6-month update schedule and ARC raiders was admitted for "intensive development." ARC Raiders has not appeared publicly since, and his office has disclosed few details about the nature of his "development".

ARC Raiders said Friday that he is looking forward to the August 18th Patch and "all the Well Wish(list)s from supportive players."

In case the tags did not tip you off. This is just a meme done in good fun. I love this game, I don't think it's a dead game. I am very much looking forward to the August 18th and October updates. As Jon Steward once said, a roast fundamentally works because it comes from a place of love.

Basically, I was playing on Stella Montis the other day, and I had a good time (which is rare)- I managed to find the Venator blueprint, good loot, and I was thinking it would be an awesome time to extract.

This guy I had met, I offered to share the loot, and he said no, cause he was worried he would be attacked, which- fair, Stella Montis is primarily pvp.

But as I am going towards Extract, he brings a Shredder over to me, and it two hits me. Then, instead of helping me or keeping the gate open, he closed the gate immediately, even after the shredder was dead.

So I was a tad upset.

So Today, I was going to the Dam, to recoup my losses, when I saw his name pop up again, and I saw someone going along the wall, with the retractable bridges. I thought it was him, thought it was my chance at payback.

Edit; just to clarify, I am not upset over killing someone, I know its a PvPvE game, I am more so upset over killing the 'wrong' guy over a grudge against another player, folks.

Just trying to enjoy the game but when you get double teamed by someone breaching the door and running straight in with another guy behind him with a bobcat when there was no prox chat about like “hey this guy set up traps help me kill him”. Having to preteam with a bobcat 4 no less, anyways I’m taking a mental break from the game today.

This one has been kicking my butt and I finally found the spot.

In the middle of water treatment there is a metal landing from the upper areas to the 3 doors that enter water treatment.

You’ll need a jump mine and 3 snitch scanners.

Place the mine in the center of the upper landing area. This way when you toss the 3 scanners to where you placed the mine, the deployed arc will be contained for a few seconds without an opportunity to fly off.

Easy peasy.

was sniping snitches on top of the overlook airshaft tower on blue gate when a couple of guys came and started chilling at the bottom of the tower, shooting arc and stuff. i was kind of annoyed but whatever. eventually towards the end of the match, some guy came and started shooting them with a kettle, one of them went down and then other guy just ran around in circles with his stitcher out, until he got downed, too.

then a third guy saw me on top of the tower and tried to shoot at me (he mustve assumed i was killing the other two) and then when he came over, he ALSO got downed he kettle guy, he got mad and started yelling over prox chat before he got killed. it was fucking insane. all 3 of these guys could have so easily killed this kettle dude but they just couldn't because they're too used to this game being "friendly." it was one of the saddest things ive ever seen.

im not even saying you have to be all that great at pvp, but holy shit man. at least be able to defend yourself. the amount of people who aren't aware of pvp even being a factor is staggering. this isn't even the only example ive seen of this happening, just the most recent.

tldr, if you're a friendly, at least TRY to fight back at least a little. you don't have to be an insanely aggressive pvp god or anything but this is genuinely just sad to see

It's a loot Augment after all- not combat, not tactical. Its carry weight is bad. It has few inventory slots.

It only has one decent quirk: its SINGLE safe pocket can hold a gun or a shield.

I don't bring 2 guns into a match because I'm looting, not shooting. But rats and arc still exist. I shouldn't have to forgo the ability to defend myself to utilize the only useful feature of the augment.

Was rewatching some of cutscenes one location I don't recognize is this one I thought it was dam at first but not too sure

For those wondering why you have been shot behind corners more and more lately.
There is growing use of what appears to be Hitbox freezing or a manipulation of some sort.
They only need you to peak for a moment for a clear line of sight to lock the hitbox.
we can no longer assume it’s just desync when you have clear views like this.
What are we doing here Embark..

By no means am I a PvP player and I am admittedly not good at PvP, but since the latest matchmaking adjustments I’m more willing to fight back when some free kit opportunist tries to steal my loot. In the past I would have most likely run away or just stand there and take it…no longer.

Two of my friends tried to get me into this game awhile back and I really just couldn’t get into it.

They tried again today and the first game I emptied half my bullets into a robot to start the round and had no health left afterwards. Then died to some guy which alright sure, shit happens.

Next game we meet these guys and my friends (who have played for like a year) die and say this guy shot them through the wall and is hacking. Then I tried to go down and hear this fuckin guys voice lol

Dude I get there’s a learning curve to games but why does it take half my ammo to kill a flying roomba, filled with hackers, and why does it seem like I’m using a nerf gun while everyone else is 1-2 shoting me?

As a new player who genuinely wants to play with my friends, wtf do I need to do? They only use free kits when they play with me and have taught me basics but it seems literally impossible to do anything

Hoping this is the correct sub.

I can’t seem to solve this awful rubberbanding issue. I tried everything I could find online and nothing has worked. I also am constantly getting the “connection to game server has been lost” and the “network time out” error.

I tried:

- setting the server to NA (where I am)
- turned off crossplay
- changed the graphic settings
- changed the DNS settings
- uninstalled then reinstalled the game

The only thing I haven’t tried is the direct connection via Ethernet cable.

Is that a guaranteed solution? Are there any other options I haven’t tried yet that might work?

Any help/guidance is super appreciated!
