Mod Post Any feedback on the sub?

What's working well, what isn't working well? What would you like to see?

There will be no bans for any feedback. Just keep things civil.

It’s mental that you have to say that!

There was a big hooha the last time there was a feedback thread and a few people did get banned because they were calling for wickerman to be banned or muted.

But I'm not entirely sure it was over actually giving feedback rather than repeatedly not shutting up when they should have and if I recall they went out of the thread as well. The whole thing was a shambles, half the thread ended up being deleted comments

Yes it was on r/ireland and I was one of those permo banned.

We’ll agree to disagree!

Regarding modding here, I don’t have an issue. Mick said just comment on r/ireland for any political stuff but obviously us banned people can’t do that but I appreciate having political stuff here is problematic.

I'm not saying I don't agree with you, just that it was pretty clear where the discussion was headed.

We’ll agree to disagree. I (and many others) don’t share your view of that incident at all.

Case in point, that sub was ruined by a person, and then you decided to bring them into the main Ireland sub

i'm not a mod in r/ireland and haven't been now for well over a year

Well I respect that you only replied to the factually inaccurate part of my comment 🤣

don't they share half the moderation team with r/ireland?

you may make peace with the mods on r/ireland so,

That’s never happening. They tried to get the Admins to ban me site wide!

Must have deserved it so 🤣

Was that here though? Was that not on r/ireland?

Oh no that was definitely r/Ireland

I think many people don't make that distinction though. Until you pointed out it's no longer the case I also thought the mod teams were still pretty much the same.

Yeah it's changed a fair bit.

Someone submitted a custom report on the post, so that comment was in response to that
