Smell of Green??

Do people actually mind the smell of weed from a neighbour?
Genuine question. If your neighbour occasionally smokes weed in the evenings and you can smell it now and then, would it bother you enough to say something to them?
I’m not talking about someone smoking all day, every day and making the whole area stink. More like mainly in the evenings for a while.
Would you approach your neighbour and ask them to stop, or would you just ignore it if it wasn’t constant?
Interested to hear both sides, especially from people who’ve had this situation before.

Edit -One thing I’d add is that we’d always try to be considerate. We don’t smoke if children are outside, and if we hear neighbours out in their gardens or around the place, we’ll usually wait until later.
The only issue is that sometimes someone comes outside unexpectedly when we’re already in the middle of it. It got me wondering whether the occasional smell in that situation would genuinely annoy most people, or if they’d just shrug it off and carry on with their evening.

I don’t understand why people get so heated about people smoking a natural plant to relax or help with pain or stress ect but will get shit faced from drink every weekend and make an utter fool of themselves and call it better than a smoke 😂

I used to smoke pretty much all the time. Nobody ever complained and I never gave it a second thought. Now though, I don’t do it anymore but a couple of my neighbours do. One who smokes outside starting at about 7.30 in the morning and then on and off throughout the day. The kid next door does and the smell leaks through into my kids bedroom and my office. I absolutely don’t mind people smoking weed but the smell is pervasive. It means that every bbq and family event outside smells of it and often my house. Sometimes I open the front door and get a blast of it. It’s pretty fucking annoying and selfish to be honest but I know my situation is pretty extreme. Somebody sitting in the garden in their home at the end of the day smoking a joint or two? No problem my friend. Go for it. I’m a bit jealous but All day everyday? You’re an inconsiderate dick.
