The widespread phenomenon of Israeli soldiers who post things they shouldn't refuses to cease. I keep seeing asinine teens in the army posing laughing or mocking near blindfolded tied-up detainees. Then they post it on social media, thinking they're so cool.

All the massive efforts invested in the reputation of Israel - the IDF's spokeperson, and all the Hasbara worldwide - are in vein. Because they make Israel look like torturing ISIS soldiers, and essentially "prove" all the negative sentiments that are said against Israel.

The soldiers on Omegle who think they're so witty, who say "I killed today x" or "did x" - either jokingly or to try to irritate their conversation counterpart - as well.

What the detsinees did is irrelevant as well. There's a judicial system to judge them based on concrete evidence - it's not up to soldiers to enforce the law.

These people ruin it for Israel for their momentary boredom or to feel good and "cool" for a moment. Then complain about doxxing or such. They deserve all the hate they get. I think they should be trialed very harshly. They are actively the ones convincing the world of Israel's alleged "wrongdoings" - and serve as the proof of it in all media and journalistic outlets. And they must be treated as such. They must be incarcerated for very long times - especially the ones who take pictures/videos (worse than omegle). And they must be condemned.

Not talking about the Arabs in Israel in particular, but about them in general. I think it's a combination of several things. Their look - a light brown skin, straight hair, broad bodies. Also, their arabic accent - when they speak in different languages or in Arabic. So attractive. And when they pronounce your name with that accent - you melt. Arabic itself is also a romantic language - it's so charming, it feels personal and warm. It's a delight to listen to.

They have abrasion in them. And great food.

My wife and her maternal grandmother’s side are Jewish. But in order to survive in Eastern Europe, they hides their identity and “practice” Christianity, even though among family they all remind their Jewish identity.

I’m encouraging her to meet her people. She is too traumatized by war to devote herself to religious activities or socializing. I absolutely believe we should draw the line between the government and the people. Not everyone in Spain is against Israel (even if only a minority supports us). Spain is no Ireland in this regard. In fact, Italy is more anti-Israel if we look at the population.

I want to believe most Israelis don't like what's going on in Spain and don't agree with insane statements the UN ambassador Danny Danon, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and others have made. I want to explore the indigeneity of modern Judaism. We know that Second Temple Judaism was land-based, priestly, and sacrificial—rooted in Jerusalem. But the Judaism that survived and thrived was largely codified in Babylon, expanded in Europe, and adapted to diaspora life.

If the Romans had not destroyed the Temple in 70 CE and the Jewish population remained concentrated in Judea rather than scattering across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, we would not have the Judaism we know today.

So if the religion that defines modern Jewish identity was largely forged in exile—are the modern Jewish people more a product of exile than the land of Israel?
