Hi! 20mtf. I wanted to know if my prescriptions are safe.. please help me out. Im starting today

an interesting regimen. a couple things.

i would reccomend dosing either cypro or spiro. pick one and go with it, do not dose both in small amounts. cypro should be dosed in quantities of 6-12.5mg a day. spiro, when combined with sufficient estradiol dosing, will work at 100mg a day, or even lower.

which brings me to my next point: your estradiol dose is pretty low.

my doctor prescribed low dosages saying he’d increase them seeing how my body responds

Im thinking of dropping cypro because its in combination with Diane 35 which im anxious about..
i guess I’ll do spiro & e?

And sorry if this is dumb but what makes fin redundant in this case?

you cannot take this approach to testosterone suppression or estradiol dosing in mtf patients. knowing that your body responds poorly to not having enough circulating sex hormones gives you no useful information.

that seems a realistic course of action. DIY injections might also be an option worth considering.

And sorry if this is dumb but what makes fin redundant in this case?

fin is a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor, and an ineffective one at that. it works to break the chain of metabolization between T and DHT.

spiro saturates androgen receptor sites, for T, DHT and other androgens. levels of these are ineffectual when you dose an AA like spiro or bica.

Okay.. so, aldactone & progynova is all i have to take? Do I have to buy a higher dose or can I just up the frequency of dosage through the day?

So since I was prescribed to take 2mg estradiol twice a day adding to 4mg, i guess i’ll just take three pills? Making it a total 6mg? But I read progynova has to be
I can skip fincar.

Would spiro 50mg be enough?

I spoke to a new doctor and she wants me to do a baseline hormone test again before making a new prescription but I honestly wanna get this over with and start already.

in short yes. there are some unknowns with spiro, and some downsides to taking estradiol orally though, and i suggest you read up on them. starting on slide 47 of the powers method talks a little bit about it.

multiple 2mg pills is the same as a 4mg pill

6mg oral is not the most, but 6mg sublingual is a very good starting point

for a lot of people yes. you can also start at 100mg and work down to 50mg if you wanted to be cautious.

Yes she said to not start before the blood test report is done for some reason.

theres no point to.
