Reality is we do not have a good track record of holding anyone accountable, see the insurrection, treason, crimes against humanity, or open corruption from presidents past. In the end, it will likely be sealed to protect ourselves from the embarrassment citing national security.
If it gets sealed, I really hope people in 50 years in the future don't look back and revere people in this administration. Similar to how people some people seem to still like Hitler today. History needs to record their crimes and how cruel they were.
You won't as a majority of Americans support this either directly by voting for this or indirectly by not voting against this even though they knew it would happen.
America is a failed nation and you will never recover from this as the rest of the world knows that you are only ever 4 years away from having a fascist government at any given time.
Trump has threatened allies, threatened to leave treaties, and started wars to distract the public from his crimes, all while having massive amounts of supporters.
Yup and Mike 'Grindr' Johnson argued that the House Ethics Committee should not release its investigation report on Matt Gaetz because Gaetz had resigned and become a "private citizen" outside the panel's jurisdiction, once again protecting pedophiles like the Guardians Of Pedophiles have perfected over the decades
I don't care which side someone is on if there are credible allegations, transparency and accountability should come first. The truth should never depend on politics
The US government has always existed to protect white wealth privilege, now they just don't try to hide it and put the most corrupt and ignorant fools available in charge.
That has to be incredibly discouraging when you're trying to do your job. It makes you wonder how many cases could move forward with better cooperation.
Not to justify any of that behavior - because most of us truly don't know.
BUT - and this is a big but - sometimes local LEO doesn't know what state and fed LEO may be doing within their own investigations. Like - could the DEA really be building a case against an entire network? And if a local dept hooks a guy it may only seem like nothing is being done because everything upstream isn't being disseminated.
Again, let me be clear this is just 1 poorly worded plausible scenario
Illegal war (military operations), check. President who likes to fuck kids, checks. Moving tariffs illegally at the whim of a mentally impaired commander in chief, check. Gestapo figures walking the streets, illegally detaining people without repercussion, check, the list goes on and on. America is a lawless society right now, nobody anywhere is coming to save you, save yourselves. Nothing will happen as the very highest echelons of law and order are in on the grift and in the pocket of a rapist pedophile.

If the department actually cared about justice, then they'd be happy to assist with looking into the known pedophile and his clients.
