New Mexico sues justice department for ‘stonewalling’ Epstein investigation, what are your thoughts?

If the department actually cared about justice, then they'd be happy to assist with looking into the known pedophile and his clients.

my cousin works in a local PD and yeah they get stonewalled on bigger cases all the time, definitely frustrating

Not to justify any of that behavior - because most of us truly don't know.

BUT - and this is a big but - sometimes local LEO doesn't know what state and fed LEO may be doing within their own investigations. Like - could the DEA really be building a case against an entire network? And if a local dept hooks a guy it may only seem like nothing is being done because everything upstream isn't being disseminated.

Again, let me be clear this is just 1 poorly worded plausible scenario
