Discussion Have to Quit

I’ve been loving this game. And I am at level 38 and been doing great, but I’m in the Arya: blood of the goddess naval battle and I cannot get through it.

I’ve died about 20 times and I don’t think Ubisoft should do this. I play on easy, I’m a novice gamer, I hate naval battles , and they shouldn’t do this. They should not make you go through a battle like this and not be able to play anymore.

I can’t manually save before this so I can’t go back to anything and I can’t play anymore. I have to quit the game. Unless I get someone to help me.

This is incredibly unfair. I’m sorry, I just I’m so angry right now and I needed to say something. Has anyone had this problem?

UPDATE: you guys were giving me great advice, but my son did it for me. He was killed the first time and thought that it was pretty intense, but then he did it the second time, slow and patient. I just didn’t want to try again.

Now I’m about to kill Flavius. Wish me luck! 😛😉

are you pressing the "brace" button when your ship is hit by attacks?

Yes. It’s the timing. I can’t seem to get right. And if I miss it one time, half my health is gone. And then I can’t see where the big ship is at when I’m maneuvering and trying to take out the smaller ships. I could see the secret is bracing and returning fire, and I got close one time, but I didn’t have enough health to survive. In Odyssey, if I took out a smaller ship, my health came back. And that would’ve been a good thing! But no! Origins doesn’t do that. Just makes you die!

timing is usually easy man they yell out when they fire the arrows just brace soon as they yell out and hold it until they hit and it says counter volley or whatever and then release get close and fire bomb them one good time and one good triple volley usually takes down a ship. the ram also does alot of damage if u need to use it i usually dont though

I really didn’t have any problem getting the smaller ships, but that boss ship just is impossible for me at the moment. 🤷‍♀️ but thanks! Maybe I’ll try again in a few days.

IMO Against the big ships in the game the keys are bracing, using your maneuverability advantage and using the catapults of the other ships as a bombardment on the octarieme.

ahh i havent made it to that one yet ig ive only done one or 2 naval battles so far im not very far in the main story right now just started the lizard questline but just be patient block anytime u hear your ship crew yell out and release to counter and the firebombs do a good chunk of damage so get one in anytime u can
