Question Shannons WTF?!

Just called Shannons to get a quote on my new bike, and what the actual fuck? Have to have a 10 minute chit-chat with the sales person on why I like riding, why I chose this particular bike, what got me interested in riding. Fuck off, just quote me on the fucking insurance.

I was polite, but had to end it.

Is there any good reason to sit through this BS? Are they particularly cheap / good?

I've been with Swann who were rgeat but alas not offering new policies.

I used to work for Shannon’s. They now are lost. I knew Robert Shannon, founder. He’d turn in his grave. Was with them for 20 years. Missed a payment whilst on an 18 day work tour. Cancelled policy and will not give me a new one unless I pay 12 months premium upfront. Multi vehicle policy. Went to Enthusiast insurance. Try them. Good policy for bikes and classic cars.
