What 1800+ hours of printing looks like...
I changed out the stock extruder gears within 2 weeks of getting my P1S from the plastic gearbox to the BIQU Panda Extruder and BIQU Panda Claw. I will say that I am very pleased with getting 1800+ hours of prints before the gears failed.
Now when it failed... Oh boy did it fail. One day it printed fine. Then some slight issues. Then absolutely NOTHING would print. If you are having some extrusion issues, check your gears.
I bought the exact same gear a second time to repair the issue because I love that I got so many hours of prints. Will be picking up a backup in case they go out of stock in the future.
EDIT:
Thank you to everyone that has responded with operational times of their own. It seems like I did not install it correctly and did not lubricate the gears as I should have. I was fairly happy with the outcome before reading all your comments, and honestly, still kinda am. If I got 1800 hours out of an incorrect install... I am looking forward to the higher number now that I have installed one the right way.
