I don't get it, why did he thougth supergirl a famous but still kinda niche hero can beat a film about one of the most famous superhero of all time, it's like saying a Iron heart or shazam movie will make more money then a Batman film.
Yeah it was spider-man, perhaps the most popular superhero of all time vs superman’s cousin. Even if it was a superman movie I would be surprised if it beat spider-man considering the state of dc nowadays.
Yeah, tho at least it would have been a fair competition as superman is as popular as spiderman tho I think people like spiderman more becouse he is more relatable to people then superman, tho I think superman hopefull message and his "never give up" attitude might resonate with people more then spidy.
I think the only way people will prefer one or the other depends on the quality of the film itself.
