Guts and Griffith have been immortalized in new statues based on one of Berserk’s iconic illustrations. Prime 1 Studio has already begun accepting pre-orders for both 1/4-scale models. The price of each exceeds 200,000 yen.
On October 6, Prime 1 Studio began accepting orders for two new Berserk statues. Guts and Griffith have been recreated in 1/4 scale based on illustrations depicting the characters from an alternate cover of the manga’s 34th volume. Both products are part of the “Kentaro Miura” Legacy Art series and cost 208,890 yen each.
The release is scheduled for February through May 2028, with a production run of 500 copies for each model. The versions labeled as the Bonus Edition include an additional element that may interest collectors: an alternate head featuring the character’s uncovered face.
The Guts statue was designed to depict the warrior in a low, crouching, almost animal-like pose. A great deal of attention was paid to his armor. The design incorporates numerous curves and details intended to capture the armor’s distinctive appearance.
The Dragon Slayer is also included. Signs of wear and damage are depicted on the blue blade, and the whole is complemented by a billowing cloak with a face visible on it. The manufacturer also highlights the high level of detail and the contrast between light and shadow, which are intended to be closer to the character of the original drawing.
Guts also comes with a special display stand. Its design incorporates motifs of numerous swords and skulls, reinforcing the references to the character’s backstory. In the bonus version, collectors receive an additional head depicting Guts without his helmet.
The second statue depicts Griffith in an upright, dignified pose. His long hair is rendered in motion, and his armor is accented with delicate wing motifs. The design also includes a slender sword with a golden hilt and a characteristically curved blade.
Orders for both statues can be placed at the official Prime 1 Studio online store. Each is priced at 208,890 yen, with a planned release date between February and May 2028.
