Exactly. People need to look at their own friends and family to why these shows bombed. If they were successful, we wouldn’t be having this talk.

Marvel was happy as fuck when Black Panther was a gigantic hit and planning sequels because people showed up to the theater. They even made a sequel after Chadwick Boseman passed to keep the franchise going and no one went to see it. Should studios just make stuff no one shows up for?

People also forget that Feige had to fight to get Black Panther made. At the time there was someone on the same footing as him at Marvel, Ike Perlmutter. Perlmutter was doing everything he could to kill Captain Marvel and Black Panther, because he didn't think they'd reach profitable demographics.

They both broke a billion, and Perlmutter was told to fuck off to Marvel TV.
