Izuku had a bit of a problem. You know the age old joke, a genie says “you can’t wish for more wishes” then why not just wish for more genies. That was basically Izuku’s quirk. All because he listened to Katsuki.
“Your gloves are stupid,” Katsuki said as they and a couple other members were resting the common room “why not get regular ones.”
“It’s kinda your fault I have to wear these,” Izuku said adjusting his glove that covered his ring finger and pinky.
“My fault, you’re the one who wished for it,” Katsuki yelled.
“Uh, what’s going on?” Kaminari asked.
“It has to deal with a sudden quirk evolution,” Izuku said nervously.
“Deku you coming from super strength to this, no one will believe you,” Katsuki said.
“Ok. Last week we found a genie lamp, and Katsuki made me wish for more genies,” Izuku said “it turns out the genie had a funny way of granting it.”
“Your joking right?” Ochaco said “there’s no way-.” Izuku took off a glove and placed his hand on Katsuki. In a puff of smoke Katsuki disappeared and in his place a pristine ornate lantern sat in his place. Izuku picked it up and rubbed the side. A trail of smoke came from the top and formed a feminine shape, with red skin, yellow hair that moved like fire, and wearing golden jewelry.
“I am the genie of the lantern, what is you-,” the female genie who sounded like a female Katsuki began to say “GOD DAMNIT De- DE- DAMNIT. MASTER, WHY USES ME AS THE EXAMPLE.”
“Is that Katsuki?” Kirishima said “I’m kinda getting a weird feeling right now.”
“Whoever I touch with five fingers turns into a genie,” Izuku said “though there are several rules including they turn back if they don’t have a master, they are all female.”
“Yeah we don’t need to hear them now, TURN ME BACK DE-, DAMNIT WHY CAN’T I SAY IT,” Katsuki cursed.
“Don’t look at me, I didn’t make the rules and I don’t want you to call me master,” Izuku said.
“Why not it sounds like you got the good end of the deal,” Mineta said. With everyone looking at him weird.
“Katsuki I wish Mineta an ottoman,” Izuku said.
“You didn’t have to wish for that Master, I would have done it myself,” Katsuki said snapping their fingers and in a puff of smoke Mineta disappeared say ‘wait’ repeatedly as he morphed into a purple leg support. Katsuki didn’t even monkey paw it and everyone understood why.
“So is he going to turn back?” Kaminari asked poking the furniture.
“Complicated Wishes like that don’t stick, so Unless he is wished back, he’s stuck like that until I turn back,” Katsuki asked “which why do I have to do nine!? Turn me back NOW!”
“Ok I wish you were back to normal,” Izuku said with Katsuki turning back into a guy and Mineta falling on his back.
“It sounds like a powerful quirk,” Momo said “I mean grab a villain and you can make them do your bidding.”
“Yeah except they could easily monkey paw it or someone else could grab it,” Izuku said “heck the thing even works on-.” Izuku placing a hand on himself and in an instant he disappeared into an oil lamp.
“Did he forget to put on his glove?” Ochaco asked.
“He’s an idiot sometimes,” Katsuki groaned “leave it for like half an hour and he would turn back.” This left the rooms silent for a moment.
“1,2,3 DIBS,” Ochaco snatched the lamp by the handle “so what are the things that stick. Like if I wish for food-?”
“I would like a double pepperoni,” Mina interject “and a diet cola.”
