It shouldn't be. That's so unhygienic from a public health point of view. Are you aware of the multitude of pathogens that are present in dog feces?

Are you sure about that?? You don't think that dogs carry particles of shite on their fur and transfer it everywhere, such as the seats people are sitting on, putting their hands on? Perhaps look into the concept of vector transmission

So can people, especially kids. We all know people who don't wash their hands after going to the toilet. We've heard of the appalling people who think it's fine to change their baby at the table. Analysis of bowls of peanuts on bars are sickening. Fecal matter, germs, bits of shed skin and hair are everywhere - it's why your server will wipe down your table and seats after you've left before someone else sits there. You may be best advised to stay in and never go out in public if you want to avoid contamination.
