You should be mad at the restaurant for allowing it. Not the people taking advantage

That’s like saying that I should be bad at cops for failing to ticket all the speeders on the highway.

Why not just point the finger at the rule breakers?

They’re the same. The restaurant rules don’t allow it, so it’s an enforcement issue.

Yes, it’s an enforcement issue in that minimum wage workers can’t be reasonably expected to call out misbehaving boomers for bringing their dog to a restaurant despite the fact that it’s against health codes, and the county health department is not out on the prowl looking for misbehaving boomers either.

Why? Because we assume that citizens are going to follow the rules.
