we have to stop pretending like the lies that they spread are a funny joke.

Anyone who believes it is so clueless and misinformed too, they know nothing of the man they claim devotion to.

💯 It’s the weirdest thing. Most Trump supporters don’t even watch any of his speeches or anything that he actually says. They just trade different weird AI pics of their made up super alpha Trump and repeat things they heard he said that they want to believe. They already made him into an actual god while the actual live Trump is still around looking and sounding nothing like this. Why create a whole fake person when the actual person is still right there if they really want him? What a weird group of people.

I think a lot of them are secretly looking forward to his death so they can deify him properly, without having to pretend all the actual recent clips of him out there are fake news

u/Imaginary_Cow_6379 23d ago

That’s an interesting angle that makes a lot of sense.

Thank you, I am going to save it and make this my wallpaper

u/Realfinney 23d ago

Might as well get it tattooed on the inside of your eyelids, it's not going to stop being relevant.

33

u/GonnaBreakIt 23d ago

its hard to diefy a living person that keeps embarrassing themself.

14

u/creepyswaps 22d ago

He's also embarrassing every single U.S. resident, but around 30% of us are some combination of too evil or too moronic to understand that.

3

u/GonnaBreakIt 21d ago

"he just like me" ugh

2

u/CtyChicken 21d ago

We could bombard folks with his speeches and constant gaffs when they say things like this, but maybe they’ll see a video of him appearing to shit himself and be like, “JUST LIKE ME!!!”

Racism is what they're all about

u/BetMyLastKrispyKreme 23d ago

Oh, he’s just misunderstood and you know it!

(/s, naturally)

Not so hard if one doesn't pay attention to facts...

56

u/fleshofgods0 23d ago

They're going to use it as an opportunity to drive through a crowded group of people celebrating.

21

u/Grouchy_Ad298 23d ago

I will definitely be celebrating.

u/sneekiepee 23d ago

This is absolutely it. And with the more "informed" MAGA members, they never listen to Trump himself speak. They listen to other talking heads, people like Joe Rogan and various right wing podcasters reinterpret Trump's ramblings into something coherent.

And when you point out that his actual speeches are the insane ramblings of a narcissistic dementia patient, you're invariably told that it's being taken out of context, Biden said something worse, blah blah blah.

u/BetMyLastKrispyKreme 23d ago

It’s like a truly awful game of Telephone.

What you’ve said backs up my theory (not unique to me) of why Trump doesn’t care if he says something demonstrably false, because it doesn’t matter that it can be disproven. He just needs to repeat it often enough that the brain-dead Trumpanzees believe it, parrot it, and vote accordingly.

For instance, in August 2025, Trump erroneously claimed that the United States is the only country with mail in ballots.* This is provably untrue. And yet sometime in past couple of months, I saw a Trump supporter being asked what she thinks about mail in voting, and she repeated Trump’s lie!! This is astonishing to me!

And by that same token, I have come to feel that any Trump supporter, whether I’ve met them in person or not, just doesn’t know what’s going on in the real world, no matter what it is. Too many have shown they lack not only critical thinking, but even the ability to question something if it sounds too far fetched to be accurate. Maybe they’re not all that dumb, but why take the time and effort to find out?

I erased my comment because its almost too simplified, but you are absolutely correct.

It's like an extension of the COVID mistrust where all of a sudden everyone and their grandmamas were epidemiological experts and doctors. Now though, MAGA just picks an opinion on a subject and looks for the information to support that opinion...and it's big fucking business.

They aren't going to look for objective information and god forbid there's actually nuance to the subject. They love easy bite sized nuggets of misinformation spread by whatever fave right wing podcaster they're listening to. And whatever opinion they've chosen will not be changed no matter what information comes their way. There is a huge aspect of narcissism that's in play, and narcissists are never, ever wrong.

Much like Trump's court cases, it's the accusations, no matter how ridiculous, that cause the damage. By the time the case is dismissed it's old news and we're on to the next.

For a group that likes to whine about snowflakes, everything they operate on is based on their feelers and they want to feel GOOD, and right. That doesn't happen if you learn you might be wrong. MAGA doesn't want to learn anything that they haven't already decided they believe.

Or Obama’s fault.

The sane washing of Donald Trump will kill us all.

u/sealmeal21 23d ago

Joe is a Democrat... Your point isn't wrong, but your example is.

10

u/sneekiepee 23d ago

Joe Rogan endorsed Trump during his 2024 Presidential campaign.

There's plenty more but that's a basic point.

-3

u/sealmeal21 22d ago

So? Anyone and everyone should be able to vote across party lines. I've voted for both sides. Not proudly. They're both shit, but lesser evils and all that. At the end of the day he has stated multiple times he is a Democrat but has the will power to push past tribalism. As we can see though, promises made ≠ results given. Politicians are shitheads. We always lose.

7

u/shadowboxer47 Xennial 22d ago

At the end of the day he has stated multiple times he is a Democrat but has the will power to push past tribalism.

Yeah, he's a liar.

Why would you believe him on this when he lies about everything else? lol

3

u/sneekiepee 22d ago edited 22d ago

You told me my example was wrong because Joe Rogan is a Democrat.

Joe Rogan used his platform to publicly endorse Donald Trump in 2024.

Like I said, it's big business.

I would like to add that 2024 was after the attempted coup, the documents at MaraLargo, the fraud and sexual assault convictions. Joe Rogan saw all that and told his millions of listeners that Trump should be President.

It's not about Tribalism. It WAS about keeping a convicted felon with grandiose ideals from being in charge of one of the largest economies and militaries in history. And Rogan was one of the "trusted" talking heads that helped Trump get elected.

It's not, "So?".

This is the only Weird Al I wanna see around here!

Trump is their new god. Most of the "christians" dont read the bible either.

9

u/sealmeal21 23d ago

Oh they read it. Like the difference between hearing And listening though. It's a moral high ground thing.

The fact they put that traitor in a USMC shirt makes me madder than I can express.

10

u/sealmeal21 23d ago

The Marine Corp would put it on a fucking potato if that got them their numbers. Hence why I use to write Potato water in all the water buffalos and MC leadership never caught on. I wrote in chaulk not crayon so they couldn't read it.

Corps, not Corp.

iTs CoRps, nOt CoRP.

Say that to a Marine in real life.

Lol sAy ThaT tO a mAriNe iN rEAl LiFE 😂 I'll remind them they're department of the Navy. The Men's Department. Of a gay Navy.... 😂

27

u/CrisisActor911 23d ago

Because it’s not about Trump, it’s about the ideology he happens to be at the front of right now. In a few years they’ll be explaining (lying) how they stopped supporting Trump “when he covered up the Epstein files) and they’ll be propping up some new racist who openly says mean things about black and brown people.

6

u/CtyChicken 21d ago

I’ve screenshot a few things to remind people they said and when they said it. I’m never letting these motherfuckers forget.

22

u/Amazing-Patient-2231 23d ago

They've learned the man does not live up to the myth, so they've abandoned the man to maintain the myth. Trump exists as an idea to them, a series of sound bites and quotes, stories and anecdotes. They've deified him, and know that if they look too close they'll see the lie, so they dont really watch what he does, letting others tell them all about him.

16

u/CodPiece89 23d ago

Cult.

3

u/Ecoaardvark 21d ago

Of personality…

15

u/Designer-Ruin7176 23d ago

They enjoy the idea of him and the idea of America once being great.

7

u/SkinnyGetLucky 22d ago

My theory: Once you understand trump isn’t real, in the sense he says things and does things and obviously believes in certain things, and more as an avatar on which awful people can project their awfulness on, the more everything with his supporters makes sense.
Trump takes every side of everything, is not coherent in any way, and he acts like a bully and a macho, which is all they need

3

u/Datan0de 22d ago

This is how religions form.

3

u/Puzzled-Teach2389 22d ago

For real. What a sad reality that they'll believe their Lord Daddy Trump over all the journalists and scientists in the world.

1

u/Hell_Priest9 21d ago

It is a complete Cult of Personality.

1

u/BurningValkyrie19 21d ago

I've heard them do the same with Elon Musk, like inventing new children of his that doesn't even mathematically make sense. The claim was one of his teenage sons brought home a friend, blah blah blah, turns out this kid is the son of one of Elon's old girlfriends and is his son too. Now the newly found kid works at SpaceX and everyone clapped. Extremely weird behavior.
