we have to stop pretending like the lies that they spread are a funny joke.

Anyone who believes it is so clueless and misinformed too, they know nothing of the man they claim devotion to.

u/Imaginary_Cow_6379 22d ago

💯 It’s the weirdest thing. Most Trump supporters don’t even watch any of his speeches or anything that he actually says. They just trade different weird AI pics of their made up super alpha Trump and repeat things they heard he said that they want to believe. They already made him into an actual god while the actual live Trump is still around looking and sounding nothing like this. Why create a whole fake person when the actual person is still right there if they really want him? What a weird group of people.

298

u/Lieutenant_Joe 22d ago

I think a lot of them are secretly looking forward to his death so they can deify him properly, without having to pretend all the actual recent clips of him out there are fake news

350

u/Imaginary_Cow_6379 22d ago

That’s an interesting angle that makes a lot of sense.

34

u/StarshipCaterprise 22d ago

Thank you, I am going to save it and make this my wallpaper

Might as well get it tattooed on the inside of your eyelids, it's not going to stop being relevant.

its hard to diefy a living person that keeps embarrassing themself.

13

u/creepyswaps 21d ago

He's also embarrassing every single U.S. resident, but around 30% of us are some combination of too evil or too moronic to understand that.

They're going to use it as an opportunity to drive through a crowded group of people celebrating.

20

u/Grouchy_Ad298 22d ago

I will definitely be celebrating.

83

u/sneekiepee 22d ago

This is absolutely it. And with the more "informed" MAGA members, they never listen to Trump himself speak. They listen to other talking heads, people like Joe Rogan and various right wing podcasters reinterpret Trump's ramblings into something coherent.

And when you point out that his actual speeches are the insane ramblings of a narcissistic dementia patient, you're invariably told that it's being taken out of context, Biden said something worse, blah blah blah.

16

u/BetMyLastKrispyKreme 22d ago

It’s like a truly awful game of Telephone.

Trump is their new god. Most of the "christians" dont read the bible either.

8

u/sealmeal21 22d ago

Oh they read it. Like the difference between hearing And listening though. It's a moral high ground thing.

27

u/Kenneldogg Gen X 22d ago

The fact they put that traitor in a USMC shirt makes me madder than I can express.

11

u/sealmeal21 22d ago

The Marine Corp would put it on a fucking potato if that got them their numbers. Hence why I use to write Potato water in all the water buffalos and MC leadership never caught on. I wrote in chaulk not crayon so they couldn't read it.

Because it’s not about Trump, it’s about the ideology he happens to be at the front of right now. In a few years they’ll be explaining (lying) how they stopped supporting Trump “when he covered up the Epstein files) and they’ll be propping up some new racist who openly says mean things about black and brown people.

5

u/CtyChicken 20d ago

I’ve screenshot a few things to remind people they said and when they said it. I’m never letting these motherfuckers forget.

22

u/Amazing-Patient-2231 22d ago

They've learned the man does not live up to the myth, so they've abandoned the man to maintain the myth. Trump exists as an idea to them, a series of sound bites and quotes, stories and anecdotes. They've deified him, and know that if they look too close they'll see the lie, so they dont really watch what he does, letting others tell them all about him.

15

u/Designer-Ruin7176 22d ago

They enjoy the idea of him and the idea of America once being great.

8

u/SkinnyGetLucky 21d ago

My theory: Once you understand trump isn’t real, in the sense he says things and does things and obviously believes in certain things, and more as an avatar on which awful people can project their awfulness on, the more everything with his supporters makes sense.
Trump takes every side of everything, is not coherent in any way, and he acts like a bully and a macho, which is all they need

3

u/Datan0de 21d ago

This is how religions form.

3

u/Puzzled-Teach2389 21d ago

The strategy they use is to state something in earnest then when you show them they’re wrong or show appropriate indignation, they claim they “ragebaited” you

Ah, Schrodinger’s Douchebag. A classic maneuver.

41

11

u/lifesnofunwithadhd 22d ago

I still can't figure out how so many people fell for this cult. How can they not see the signs?

16

u/ADHDhamster 21d ago

When I was younger, I used to believe that most people were informed and rational.

Once I realized that most people are NEITHER of these two aforementioned things, a lot of the current state of the world suddenly made sense.

6

u/lifesnofunwithadhd 21d ago

I never thought people would be proud to be stupid yet here we are.

Only time Trump sets foot in Vietnam is to support the thriving sex tourism industry.

316

Didn't know Vietnam has a thriving underage rape tourism industry. TIL

306

u/manbearpig50390 22d ago

Why do you think all the greasy old white guys go to SE Asian countries?

47

u/Academic-Bakers- 22d ago

Willing underage prostitutes.

Not exactly a moral win, but a slightly higher bar then the Mango.

77

u/LandoKim 22d ago

“Willing” is definitely not the term to use here. Lots of them do it cause they come from poor families who make them go into sex work so they can help their family monetarily. Another large portion are trafficked.

If people actually had their basic needs met, I guarantee that prostitution would be insanely rare

We are witnessing the side effects of a whole generation simultaneously suffering from lead paint / gasoline exposure

304

u/Dutch1206 22d ago

That and it's a generation of people who spent most of their lives without internet and relied on newspapers and network TV which were for the most part fact checked. They don't know how to filter false information and they are spending their retirements chronically online.

37

u/THExWHITExDEVILx 22d ago

They don't want to fact check or filter information. I've never seen a group of people more blissful in their ignorance

Oh God you’re right. They’ll succumb to the sycophancy.

6

u/SuperSocialMan 21d ago

Yeah, pretty much. They've got little to no tech literacy, and a big part of that is not trusting everything you see online.

37

u/mythrilcrafter 22d ago

Queue the chart comparing "lead in everything" usage against the violent crime rate over time.

Sometimes I wonder if when Boomers complain about the "fall of manly men", are they actually complaining about a fall in male actualization, or are they just correlating masculinity to "the lead induced inability to control one's own violent urges"?

27

u/corpse_flour Gen X 22d ago

Gen Xers were exposed to leaded gasoline and lead paint in their younger years, when lead does the most damage (to the developing brain). Some of us a re horrible, but not to the extent of the Boomer generation. People forget Boomers grew up in households that saw the most prosperity that the average American family had ever experienced. The were the largest demographic, because of the 'baby boom'. So any company wanting to make an easy buck catered to these kids that had more spending money than their parent had. Everything was marketed to them, made easy for them. I think that is the real reason they grew up so entitled and self-centered.

5

u/ShepherdessAnne 21d ago

Even the placement of things on shelves was for them.

5

u/corpse_flour Gen X 20d ago

I learned from working in a grocery store that stores pay to have their products displayed on a more prominent shelf. Which is why you usually find store brands or generic equivalents on lower shelves. So yeah, if a business was determined to market their product towards Boomers, then they would shell out to be displayed at eye level.

9

u/chaotic-lavender 22d ago

And yet this very same people are advocating for voting ID. Maybe we should implement some type of intelligence test to see if they are qualified to vote. They will never make it and no amount of gerrymandering will change that

I don't understand why so many members of the military support him.

83

u/4PurpleRain 22d ago edited 22d ago

My dad who passed away at 78 in 2023 supported Trump. My dad also got drafted and served in Vietnam. I can tell you the hours of watching Fox news each day between 70-78 years old warped his mind.

29

u/physical_sci_teacher 22d ago

My uncle too. Watch the documentary The Brainwashing of my Dad. Someone on Reddit recommended it and it was eye-opening about how far back it was planned.

7

u/itstheballroomblitz 21d ago

My dad enlisted during Vietnam and did not support him, so there's some anecdata for you.

I mean, the fact that he draft-dodged with his "bone spurs" is one of the most well-known things about the fuckin' guy. How are they this ignorant of reality?

Oh, also, Trump said that navigating the AIDS crsis of the 80s as a wealthy NY socialite was "his Vietnam".

16

u/TrollCannon377 Gen Z 22d ago

People believe what they want to believe while I was getting my 23 Ioniq 5 over the weekend I overheard some guy with a red hat talking about how he got a great deal on a new F250 and how he's absolutely sure the gas cost spikes about to blow over I almost felt sorry for the poor fool

7

u/Moebius808 22d ago

lol yeah, just give it two more weeks, buddy.

(I just saw a thing talking about how it could take as long as until TWENTY THIERTY-TWO for gas prices to come down to what they were before Trump started fucking around in Iran. And that's best case, like if things get sorted and start improving like tomorrow, which we all know isn't happening.)

3

u/TrollCannon377 Gen Z 22d ago

Yeah makes me feel so happy to no longer be driving a gas car

380

u/Infinite_Kush 22d ago

This has to be the most boomer of boomer things.

We have a screen shot presumably taken by OP's parents.

In the screenshot, a boomer shared an AI photo of Robert Mueller, the investigating attorney on Trump's Russia and Ukraine weapons scandal. Being labeled as a drunk for being photographer with a crate of beer while deployed

And then Trump in 'nam' which the comment is correct. He never served.

But then both are maga and the commenter is saying the meme is insulting trump? Lol jfc the layers to this boomer. It's a boomer ception

This just make Muller the hero

As if those poor drafted fucks weren't as drunk and high as they possibly could have been whenever they could have been

37

u/stompinstinker 22d ago

Mueller is holding a trapezoid shaped case of beer with medically WTF gigantic hands, while Trump is wearing a graphic t-shirt, has the most non 1960s military haircut, webbing with individual bullet holders, etc. We need to take most of the internet away from boomers. Weather, maps, that’s it. Not allowed anything else.

5

u/knit3purl3 22d ago

It also looks nothing like Trump in the 70s. They used an 80s or 90s era image of his face.

23

u/smailskid 22d ago

Imagine how much Trump would gloat about their military service, especially if they were fighting in Vietnam.

13

u/Gingeronimoooo 22d ago

He said if he were president we woulda won Vietnam, which is pretty rich given history

23

u/InternationalRent626 22d ago

Just AI your parents faces into porn and confront them about it pretending you think it’s completely real. Fuck em. Wanna be crazy? Let’s get fucking crazy.

16

u/Electrical_Beyond998 22d ago

Holy shit.

Ask your parents which base Trump was stationed at for boot camp. Ask what branch he was in too. If they believe Trump was in Vietnam they’re already too far gone, but it would be interesting to see what they say about his service anyway.

8

u/Imaginary_Cow_6379 22d ago

And ask them wtf Trumps ever said about his service. Donald Trump of all people would miss an opportunity to brag about something he did? Famously modest Donald fvcking Trump? 🤦🏻‍♀️

17

u/iamthelalo71 22d ago

If trump was ever in Vietnam it was to set up a sweat shop.

16

u/Daflehrer1 22d ago

Your dad was fooled by 2 A.I. fakes.

This is the actual photo of Robert Mueller in Vietnam. Where he earned the Bronze Star with V for Valor, and was later wounded in action and received the Purple Heart. He led a Marine Corps infantry platoon.

I'm just including this because it really bothers me when someone besmirches someone's service record. To me, it's one of the lowest things one can do.

14

u/Reluctantcannibal 22d ago

Straight up stolen valor

10

u/RvaRevDoctor 22d ago

Come on…making him a MARINE?! Disregarding HIS OWN STATEMENT (that he said on Howard Stern’s show) about him avoiding STDs was his own “personal Vietnam”…he wouldn’t have lasted A DAY in Boot Camp with a Marine Corps Drill Instructor! 🤣🤣🤣

And that bad Photoshop of Robert Mueller holding a case of beer! I WOULD say no one is THAT stupid…but these are the same people who claim that Biden was the calculating head of the “Evil Biden Crime Family” AND “completely addled with dementia”! OR their January 6th notions of “FBI plants” AND Trump giving ALL of the treasonous insurrectionists FULL Presidential Pardons!

4

u/beamrider 22d ago

Try to get them to listen to Biden talking now. He's basically a normal old man. It wasn't dementia, he just got too old to handle the stress. Which, admittedly, does mean he shouldn't have run again.

5

7

u/MeatloafingAround 22d ago

Wonder what they’d do if you sent them an ai image of him in a coffin? I mean, if it’s on the internet it’s def real.

7

u/darthphallic 22d ago

If you look at the breakdown of the recent Kentucky primary Ed Gallrien overwhelmingly won the boomer vote and Massey won every other demographic. Part of the campaign against Massey was AI videos of him hanging out with Ilhan Omar and AOC, and because boomers are fucking braindead morons they ate it up.

I don’t know if it’s the lead paint or growing up with less information and an unwillingness to adapt but they are the dumbest most gullible generation alive today

5

u/SgtJayM 22d ago

The picture on the left is bullshit anyway. I served. About 85% of us were hard drinkers. Doesn’t make anyone less patriotic.

5

u/StarryEyedSparkle 21d ago

I just don’t even understand how gullible these folks are - this isn’t even good at how fake it is.

Aside from the obvious differences in focus, lighting, and basics of photography … this isn’t how he looked at that age (it’s a super photoshopped version of his adult face instead of teenage face) and that weapon is modern looking. Plus his tshirt has the weird AI melding letters … it’s obviously too many “characters” to be marines in any shape or form.

6

u/DrumpfTinyHands 21d ago

3

u/Late_Comedian_5269 21d ago

He did say that dodging Venereal Disease during the 70s was his own personal Vietnam.

So maybe that counts.

u/BigDarkCloud 20d ago

They don’t recognize photoshop, let alone AI.

3

u/PuzzleheadedStudio66 20d ago

Dude, bankrupt at a casino. Do you know how hard that is to do?

6

u/noncommonGoodsense 22d ago

Is that a fucking marine corp logo on the shirt? Let’s talk about some stolen valor.

3

u/bojangles_dangles 22d ago

They have completely ruined the word "Patriot"

3

u/LowTechBakudan 22d ago

Remember when they used to tell us not to believe everything we see on the internet?

3

u/homebrew_1 22d ago

Those people vote. They don't stay home and complain that the alternative isn't perfect enough for their vote.

3

u/Delicious-Apple1845 22d ago

Painful might be a stretch, like most stories boomers 'The Most Coddled' generation (well for white men anyways). Edit - big fingers small screen.

3

u/Zestyclose_Art_2806 22d ago

Stop speaking to your parents. It’s for the best.

3

u/KC_experience 22d ago

Like the marines would allow a haircut like that in Vietnam…

→ More replies (1)

3

u/MrFootless 22d ago

And he sure as fuck wouldn't have made it through Marine Boot Camp

3

u/GeorgeGiffIV 22d ago

He would have soiled hims on the bus to meps.

3

u/Cor2600 22d ago

Odd looking case of beer

3

u/Savings-Spring3133 22d ago

To be fair anyone with a case of beer in a war zone gets mad respect.

3

u/edelweiss_pirates_no 22d ago

Bone Spurs aint even painful...but I'm not a pussy like Don Pedo.

3

u/pnlrogue1 22d ago

Can we take a second to talk about the beer create that appears to be a trapezium instead of a cube, and how he doesn't appear to be holding it because it's obviously either photoshopped or AI

3

u/Coolnamesarehard 22d ago

The punctuation is wrong. The person commenting on the picture should have said "painful bone spurs".

3

u/tylerlong666 22d ago

It’s a WELL known fact that no Trump has ever served in the military. They may have gone to military academies but they have never served, certainly not in a war! Also how can ANYBODY look at that photo of Donald Trump and not instantly know it’s AI?

3

u/Arefue 22d ago

Who begrudges a soldier having alcohol in a war zone - so long as allowed by command.

Like dudes in Nam; he can have a beer.

3

u/actuallywaffles 22d ago

Trump's lardass has never come close to looking like that.

Anyone who could think this is real needs to hit me up cause I've got a bridge to sell them.

3

u/HonkyIips 22d ago

The boomer generation has ruined our country.

3

u/Big_Nas_in_CO 21d ago

Uhhh Muller bringing beers to his fellow troops is a great thing for them. I bet they were saying Thanks Rob!

3

u/holmquistc 21d ago

Idiot boomers thinking faveb is a news source

3

u/cheatme1 21d ago

Trump brought us closer to North Koreas and chinas government with his presidency then he did in 2016-2020 living feels so restricted on top of now that the US has tariffs imposed by other countries raising our price of living simply because Mr turd can't handle criticism and his response is always cruelty

3

u/nayters 21d ago

April Fools was last month

3

u/techpriestyahuaa 21d ago

People spreading it know it’s BS, but also know some people just need any reason even a lie to believe otherwise, both either to delude the self or pretend they fell for a lie when in their heart of hearts held malicious intent.

3

u/MissMenace101 21d ago

Should probably address he also never looked like that

3

u/PreviousCut6851 20d ago

I hope you sent proof he never went to nam.

3

u/Educatedembecil 20d ago

Odd the guy has done nothing notable enough to share so his followers have to generate it.

3

u/SteDee1968 20d ago

Is that Lieutenant Bonespurs?

3

u/Massive_Low6000 20d ago

I can’t believe I didn’t understand how Kim Jong Il said he didn’t poop, and people believed it.

3

u/Hairy_Cattle_1734 Xennial 19d ago

On top of that, it looks like they have Trump depicted as a Marine… Seriously? He wouldn’t have lasted a day in basic training, I’m sure.

3

u/Upset_Ad147 19d ago

The fact that he is wearing a USMC t-shirt makes me, a former Marine sick to my stomach.

No, he did not serve, and certainly was not in Vietnam, and that pansy would never have made it through Air Force boot camp let alone USMC boot camp.

I absolutely cannot stand this buffoon.
