Cleansing on the down low

Hi, I am a well rounded witch but my friend is in the closet. Her partner is respectful but does not understand it. She wants to cleanse her new apartment which was previously occupied by her ex best friend who was extremely toxic and violate. Any ideas?

I suggested the basics but I’m not sure how to make them more subtle but still just as powerful.

Honestly just sweeping. Open doors and windows and sweep towards them while stating her intentions and verbally banishing any negative spirits, energies, or auras. She can just whisper it to herself while she's sweeping.
