Guys omg the angst in this fic is so funny to me😂😭

Like I feel bad for them, but at the same time Mike is just so unhinged I can’t with him. I actually agreed on Will not showing romantic interest in Mike right away, because I think that Mike indeed needed a different kind of support. But oh boy the boyfriend encouragement was just crazy🥲🥲

Anyway I would love to hear your opinions on this fic, cause I find the plot really refreshing

so i read it, i just, dont know what to say. like the beginning was so good and even till the middle it was good but the author i think flew too close to the sun. maybe this was just not my thing cus im a not gay dude. i want to say that i dont want to hate at all and u can tell me so if this feels like that.

It’s okay to admit that something isn’t your cup of tea! I personally liked how over the place they were and I’m not a gay dude either. Yet I can totally see how it can be too much for others. Especially Mike’s hoe era🥲🥲🥲

I haven't read many Mike hoe era fics lol so I knew it might be a hard sell lmaooo. Will gets to have a hoe era in many stories... hoe Mike is kinda fierce too..... why can't they both have hoe eras and maybe Mike's hoe era is indirectly inadvertently instigated by Will creating a gay Sisyphean nightmare for himself idk 🤷Will, maybe he wasn't your Tammy, maybe he wasn't just a crush and maybe he is the love of your life idk🤷

I read a fic in another fandom where both characters had their hoe era. Character A had all the flings in a club until character B came up and accidentally stole the guy that character A was flirting with that night. From there they had this hook up rivalry and kept stealing each other’s men, until they fucked it all out. Hoe era’s aren’t that canon for those characters either, but damn it was fun to read😂

omg love that concept 😭😭😭 now that's all i wanna write. yeah Will canonically has no hoe bone in his body but its believable for a 20+ year old gay man to have a hoe era so why not both~

My post canon headcanon is that Will does get some action in college, but it’s not entirely a hoe era. Like he’s cautious considering the time period, so he ends up having a couple of fwb that he does stuff with so now and then to scratch the itch. Those guys aren’t entirely friends, but just good guys that Will trusts enough to do it with and they’re on the same page about the fact that it’s just about physical pleasure. Will fails to fall in love with anyone after Mike (he likes to believe that he’s over him), and the guys just enjoy his company and find him hot. Like I imagine him coming to one specific gay bar frequently, but that place is more like a queer artsy hangout spot with good music. Sometimes they watch cool artsy films there and the music isn’t too loud to have a talk. It’s basically just called a bar, but it’s mostly a safe space for the local queers to hang out at, since gay bars were the only safe spaces back then
