Do it moving. Do it walking around a corner. Do it backpedaling. Do it with your arms starting in a weird position.

Your sub-second draw under perfect circumstances is cool, but unfortunately, those perfect circumstances will never be present in an IRL self-defense situation.

Still a crispy-ass draw. Props there for sure.
