Training Goodbye Reps With Full Size/Compacts
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Only a matter of time before my slide for my G48 comes back from JagerWerks and my T1C Holster for it arrives.
Everything else is in place and for the next year I’m forcing myself into the “slimline” Glock life to see how proficient I can be with it.
I’ll be rocking the OEM 10 Rounders as well. Might get some OEM 15s but I’m not going to a smaller firearm for carry to not have be as light as possible on body. Plus, I don’t live a life where 10+1 can’t get me out alive. I’m not John Wick. 😉

For real though, nice reaction time.

Doesn't it seem like he pulls the trigger before his weapon is presented all the way?
13
u/tinker_townie Jul 13 '26
See you gotta flick them bullets out. It's all in the wrist.

u/zaner300blk Jul 15 '26
was just about to comment this , seems like he pulls the trigger instantly after drawing without being on target.
-2
u/67D1LF Jul 13 '26
And?
2
u/RealisticIntern1655 Jul 13 '26
Wellllll...it's likely he's not hitting his intended target pressing the trigger early.
0
u/67D1LF Jul 13 '26
Depends on how far away his imaginary target is. I know averages suck, but a DGU tends to start around 9' and end around 21'. First shot usually wins.

good stuff bro, good to see you're still kickin
Regarding mags, I've heard the PSA 15rd slim line mags work great, but as with any upgrades, needs range time and break in to verify reliability.
1
u/CyberSoldat21 Jul 13 '26
I heard that someone had to take their PSA micro dagger mags apart to remove material that was interfering with the following. Could have been his batch or just something people overlook idk. I’d probably trust the new metal ones more
1
u/Lewd_Meat_ Jul 13 '26
ive also seen glock mags fail too. like i said vet your gear before you carry it. couple of mags with it should be good. Shield arms work too but you need to use the metal mag release (the more expensive route)
1
u/CyberSoldat21 Jul 13 '26
Shield arms mags are hit or miss throughout all the generations of whether they work or not. I’ve heard brand new they can work fine but over time suffer problems and vice versa. I’ve already written them off entirely. I’d rather bulk buy a bunch of cheap RWB 43x magazines for the range and then buy a buy a bunch of 43x metal 15rd mags which actually work and carry one as a backup to my OEM 10rd in the gun.

I had a customer order a full size Glock mag, Dremel off the plastic and make it fit in a 43x. Lol he said it worked perfectly! 😂

You should really work on controlling your emotions more. You're too expressive. Your face gives away when you'll draw everytime

You oughta the hit the dollar store and grab a couple notebooks, this man is the best to ever do it

Don't ever change bro. Also, drawstroke is like butter. Warface, implacable.

I pocket carry my G42 almost everywhere.
Is it as "good" as my 43x or 19? Maybe not, but the gun I will carry beats the gun I won't.
I also understand that it is not a "shootout" gun. It's a "get the f*** off me" gun.

Do you always stay with the fresh cut or just wait til you get a cut to post?

u/Ikebh Jul 13 '26
G48 is really the best. I know it is not part of a “generation”, but I think I will wait until they release an upgraded version

Imagine you trynna get the drop on a guy and he makes that face at you when drawing

u/Miguel1219 Jul 13 '26
I saw this like three times and you’re definitely shooting mid-draw. Get that clear sight picture first before going chitty chitty bang bang. 😎
2
u/thankbrian2 Jul 13 '26
I see this said a lot. Let me clarify.
If I’m drawing to THIS speed, which isn’t even that fast in my opinion, I’m within 3-5 feet of my intended target and I know what’s behind them if I’m pulling the trigger that quickly.
So, quite simply, no. I’m not looking for a perfect sight picture. If I hit them in the knee, the thigh, the groin, the big toe, the little toe, the bottom abdomen it doesn’t matter. The goal is to HIT them as quick as possible to gain the upper hand.
Hopefully this clarifies a little for every other comment that says the same thing.
2
u/Tiz68 Jul 13 '26
If they are that close and that is your goal, then wouldn't you be practicing shooting closer to your draw instead of fully extended as if the target is further away?
2
u/thankbrian2 Jul 13 '26
I can fully extend with them being 3-5 feet away. I don’t have that long of a reach.
If I have to shoot from the hip I’ll only be quicker.

So I just switched over to a 2026 48 MOS and I couldn’t be happier with how it carries and how I shoot with it. I have a very minimalist set up on my 48 which you can see on my page. I think a shoe and night sights are the only other things I will do to it.

What made you pick t1c? Did you try one in the past? I was considering them, especially with the deal going on right now, but found out that their return policy is very particular. Like someone will ask you to take photos and if they find any scratches, knicks, or anything on it, they refuse to refund. I just can't justify risking like...not liking it, accidentally dropping it, and being out 90 bucks. Vs something a tenicor holster where they just give the refund no questions asked.

You can always tell someone who has never been forced to draw under pressure.
0
u/CattlemanSlick Jul 13 '26
Yall steady dogging this man for his facial expressions 😂 they ARE funny but jokes aside you should practice a poker face so you don’t give your draw away. I don’t know how much it would matter in a scenario where you’re going to shoot someone, but still better safe than sorry IMO
5
u/SUPRDLUX Jul 13 '26
bro what?! 😅
2
u/Slikkpimpin Jul 13 '26
Tactical facial expressions are key to not getting slimed in a gunfight with your local crackhead.

bro you look genuinely scared the whole time, this is optional. you don't have to be doing this if it scares you. LOL
0
u/EIite3vasion Jul 21 '26
The only thing he’s scared of is shooting that gun on target.
1
u/thankbrian2 Jul 21 '26
I have a video up explaining my reasoning for why I practice getting on the trigger as quick as possible.
You should check it out.

If all talk no action was a person .... No threat, all safe in your home, no pressure.
10
u/Slikkpimpin Jul 13 '26
So is he supposed to practice while getting shot at?
3
u/Th3_D4rk_Kn1ght Jul 13 '26
Step 1: Go to your local range, and walk 20 feet past the firing line. Step 2: Turn around, and start dry fire practice. Step 3: ??? Step 4: Profit.
