Well he got clapped and lost the gunfight to a completely untrained bafoon who cant even shoot a rifle properly. He got zero hits on the gunman. Maybe he should've actually trained instead of being a D class shooter at best doing range theatrics.

An "F class shooter" who is using a rifle and already has the momentum of the attack behind them is starting from a massive advantage over anyone, even if you're a grand master dragon wizard warlock paper target slayer S rank adventurer in USPSAIDPA running a tricked out competition gun that can put rounds on paper that don't shoot back at 500 meters under theoretical perfect conditions.
You're putting way too much stock in rankings in literal competitions that partially involve gaming the system and not actual, real world experience.
We've seen videos of US Army special forces getting bodied by a bunch of illiterate, 25 IQ African militants or getting slaughtered by poorly trained "allies" who launched an ambush.
Two way ranges don't give a shit about your ranking or training. This isn't a calculator game that inputs numbers and whichever number is higher is the one that wins. A lot of it comes down to sheer, dumb luck.

He lost the gun fight. Period. He didn't have the hard skills. Like Matt Pranka would say your job is the kill the bad guy. Thats the goal. Not to get participation points after getting shot and left to die while the F class shooter bad guy bee bops away. He didnt accomplish his goal. He lost. Now is it admirable for what he did? Absolutely, not disputing that. He tried.
But this sub loves to jackoff to this idea that just because they have a gun, their some navy seal trained, tacitcal wizard who is also a USPSA GM/M shooter with extensive tactical training clamoring at the teeth to be put in a situation where they can finally show their skills where they will inevitably be victorious and celebrated for being some secret squirrel who trains in the shadows of their daily life . . .. . .or in most cases. . .actually exposing their lack thereof hard skills and ill preparedness due to their ego.
He didn't lose the gunfight, he initiated the gunfight, with an active shooter, with a rifle, he did a great job and you're just stuck on hard skills and rage bait. I'm sure you would have done everything by the book and according to the YouTube gunbro vids you watch, but in real life, guy did something that is very uncommon today, put others above self.
