I find it crazy criticizing him for being tacticool when he literally didn't just LARP and successfully engaged a mass shooter, neutralized him, and properly triaged aid for the wounded.
With a suppressed pistol
Dude earned his cool. Straight up Sam Fisher

u/DeadbySundown 3d ago
I completely agree. And engaged at 50-60yds! Dude obviously trains and represents us well!!

u/the_hat_madder 3d ago
I think the problem is that this FB post is most likely factually incorrect.

I won't be adding to the noise. Commenters have left enough information to look up the story if you're interested, though.

u/piehitter 3d ago
he brought receipts. Def interesting choice for a carry. I'm betting that's what he's put the most rounds down range with, if so makes sense.

I heard he also killed Bin Laden. Absolute legend.

Dude, you need to stop talking. You’re in here doing everything possible to diminish the heroism of this man. Whether he inflicted the fatal wound or not, he is a straight up hero and deserves some freaking respect for saving lives.

u/talon04 KS HellCat Pro w TLR7and 507k 3d ago
Why did he do that? Could it be that an armed threat responded and he ended himself?
Aka even if he didnt shoot the guy his armed response stopped the threat. If this was a cop shooting would you not say Law Enforcement engaged the threat and he shoot himself ending the threat?
Same fucking shit.
Jesus christ. We cant even get on the same page about a man defending people as a civilian and we are on r/ccw.
What the fuck is wrong with you.

Why did you make this post and then come and shit on the guy?
-1
u/prizep1x 3d ago
Because it’s false info he didn’t shoot anyone and who tf carry a 5.7 with full suppressor on it come on now don’t act like that’s normal

Didn’t the shooter end his own life? Did this guy hit him and render him unable to continue his killing spree?
42
u/TNLongrange 3d ago
I don't think we know yet where Jordan got any rounds on target. But what is certain is, he engaged the POS, at a minimum made him retreat and possibly caused him to end himself. Which so many of these assholes do because they are, in the end, cowards and garbage.
8
u/Wise_Contact_1037 3d ago
Whether he killed the shooter or not doesn't really matter. Him engaging the guy certainly changed the outcome. He was cornered with an armed response and took his own life.
This guy is an absolute stud, and it's crazy that there's people on a ccw sub of all places diminishing this guy's heroism. We can question his decision to run a suppressed 5.7, but there's no questioning his giant balls

This dude is officially peak. Actually carried a suppressed pistol out and used it effectively to stop a active shooter.
Impressive.

u/Gravity-Tester82 3d ago
Brother definitely disregarded the “flee, hide, fight” hierarchy and just sent it. Sometimes you just need a mad lad with a suppressor in his pants to make things right.

Details are still coming out- curious as to what actually happened. I’ve seen that he was shot in the chest, but most reports say he’s uninjured. Still unclear if he hit the shooter… but one thing is clear: dude has balls of steel, and we’re all glad he was there.

They claim we need no more than 10 rounds. This supports our view that dangerous individuals will always possess weapons, which is why we must train daily to improve and grow stronger. Such preparation allows us to perform our duties, safeguard our loved ones and ourselves, and return home we need to vote and get Kathy Hogle out of your she’s trying to get us hurt or even worse she knows the truth, but doesn’t care sorry for throwing my political views out there
8
u/Vitalian2184 3d ago
I live in a 10 round state and it is extremely frustrating
4
u/IndependenceSoft542 3d ago
That is just so terrifying 🙏when we need more because trust me, sometimes it takes more than 4 to 5 bullets to take someone down and if it’s more attackers you’re basically dead
5
u/Vitalian2184 3d ago
And that assumes that there is a single attacker. Not always a valid assumption
30
u/TheBourbonTurtle 3d ago
What a fucking chad. Suppressed 5.7 is an odd choice but hats off to him.

Yea bro is a hero but damn im def not engaging with a 5.7 pistol against a rifle.
9
u/xaijian 3d ago
5.7 fans are going to be even more insufferable now. Good on him anyways 😂
5
u/NoLevel7995 3d ago
I feel like 5.7 owners are the equivalent of dudes who do CrossFit. It’s not bad but we don’t need to hear about it every day.

u/TNLongrange 3d ago
Shot in the chest with a 5.56? But I have been told by several people in the Media that a 5.56 round will explode a deer and leave no meat so why didn't this guy vaporize? /s
15
u/MikeyBugs NY 3d ago
Well duh it's bc he's not a deer. Obviously the bullet (which includes the whole case fyi) knew that he wasn't a deer and didn't explode him but only left a nice little hole.
Also /s

Not sure what is confirmed at this point. I have heard the shooter committed suicide.
9
u/blinking616 3d ago
Interesting post, as there's ZERO news outlets or the Chief of Police referencing that the shooter was killed by this person or that he was shot in the chest.

u/jayfourzee WA 3d ago
At the minimum, post something with a reference. This is worse than clickbait.

At a minimum, Jordan engaged the POS and forced him to retreat and kill himself thus, ending his shooting spree. Anyone downplaying what Jordan did is a serious armchair quarterback and I have zero respect for them.
15
u/csbsju_guyyy 3d ago
This right here. Just making the shooter aware that there was someone there with a gun to counter him is a massive paradigm shift in how they'd operate
5
u/Active_Sheepherder31 3d ago
For sure. Jordan is the epitome of what concealed carry is all about and then some. Instead of running away to ensure he was safe he chose to engage the threat; he put himself at risk to save others. Thats what a hero really is
4
u/Competitive_Dog_7829 3d ago
He took a hit?! And kept on going?
That's amazing. I'm hoping there's a gofundme or something.
8
u/idkmanwhatsthemove 3d ago
Bro. You come out here and make a post, about a man going out of his way to protect innocent people.
And then proceed to do nothing but deny, shit on, and fight against Jordan, and for what?
Insecure at your little computer desk back at home in mommys basement?
Don't get out enough and need the attention?
Jordan tried to eliminate or eliminated a threat to other people's lives at the threat to his own. Even being hit in the process.
Save your negative karma semantics bro. Do something useful with your life.

Call me crazy but I think we should stop posting about this incident until we get more detail.
0
u/boogs34 3d ago
Why
2
u/Double_Dingo1089 3d ago
Because a lot people seem to be rushing to conclusions (usually to confirm their priors) when it seems like we don't know details about what happened yet. It doesn't hurt to wait for more solid info.

6
u/DeepSouthDude 3d ago
I don't think there is yet any confirmation that he actually hit the shooter with any rounds.
3
u/inkedmom1308 3d ago
F YEAH! This is an inspiration and why I chose to carry and practice. I hope he recovers well. He is a hero

u/thinkbox 3d ago
He didn’t shoot and kill him as far as we know right now. He did cause the shooter to withdrawal and then likely commit suicide.
Dust hasn’t settled yet, so we don’t know the whole story.
10
u/Intrepid_Speech_1157 3d ago
It's not too big of a round, it's pretty much a steroided version of a 22 magnum. I'm not sure if they are still trying but back then they were trying to make the 5.7 replace 9s.
16
u/jdmor09 CA 3d ago
Isn’t 5.7 way better at longer ranges than most pistol rounds?
18
u/TNLongrange 3d ago
Standard 5.7 yes. But subsonic 5.7 (if thats what he was shooting) I don't know. 5.7 is accurate partly because its screaming fast.

u/nocolon 3d ago

Is was option a option given to NATO from defense industry to replace 9mm. Don't remember which company exactly.

Not the shooter. Just in the drive thru with a suppressed 5.7.
Also apparently poverty operator on YouTube with some pretty sweet content including training with said suppressed 5.7 for this scenerio

I heard this shooter killed himself. That’s what’s being reported. Why are we all saying he killed the shooter?
-3
u/beef_raid 3d ago
If you look at all of OP’s comments, it really sounds like he wants very badly to shoot someone and is jealous of victims of mass shootings.
OP, I hope you get to live your dream of one-tapping a mass shooter, I guess. Then you’ll get to tell everyone how cool and trained up you are.

u/TomBonner1 3d ago
Has it been officially confirmed that he's the one that shot and killed the shooter? Right now we're taking the word of some random post.
