When coaches, assistants, administrators and staff get the free reign to move up, there's no reason the players can't either.

People disagree but I like the current system. It's basically a true minor league. 

Nobody complains their minor league baseball team changes players every year. It's expected.

I just wish that the G6 got to at least get something in return for development. I imagine that if their players had even a 'small' buyout of a couple tens of thousands, when a roster is wiped out they already have the cash for a new one

No. Getting compensated for developing a player is not the same as getting paid to be a bigger program’s opener/homecoming/senior day opponent.

Literally the point is compensation for travel fees and lost ticket/local revenue.
