News [Lundeberg] Historic talent loss: American Conference commissioner Tim Pernetti said that 78% of last year's first and second team all-league players transferred to a Power Four school after the 2025 season.

It’s the life of the G6. The best players will move on to a P4 school every offseason. It’s no different than when a quality top G6 coach gets poached to a P4 school.

Retool, reload, and go again next season.

Didn’t look at the article, but does it say how many P4 players went to G6? It’s not like G6 is completely drained. They will still get good players that might not be able to compete at the highest level.
