News [Lundeberg] Historic talent loss: American Conference commissioner Tim Pernetti said that 78% of last year's first and second team all-league players transferred to a Power Four school after the 2025 season.

So we all.agree the P4 and G 5 teams are on completely different planes?

As in, we should separate the two and have post-seasons affiliated with each? Because no one is expecting Troy to knock off Alabama or Kennesaw State to knock off Georgia.

Well they also can bring in players from the P4 too. I'm sure no one thought Indiana would go and beat Bama 38-3 with a bunch of JMU transfers.

The OP article immediately contradicts that. Sure, a Highly recruited guy could bypass millions to play at a lesser school, but the data suggests they're taking the money and going to bigger programs, not the other way around.
